IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of L. W. Lister Shop Fitters Ltd., notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court, was, on the 7th day of December 1965, presented to the said Court by Harold Fisher Callaghan, of Auckland, company director; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 25th day of March 1966, at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

REDUCTION OF CAPITAL

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of S. Wood and Son Ltd., a company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office in the City of Wellington and carrying on business as shipwrights, notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 25th day of February 1966, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £75,000 to £7,500, and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 7th day of March 1966. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“The paid up capital of S. Wood and Son Ltd. is £7,500 comprised in 7,500 ordinary shares of £1 each having been reduced from £75,000 comprised in 75,000 ordinary shares of £1 each by the repayment of £1 per share in respect of nine out of every ten shares held by each shareholder”.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928 and their amendments, notice is hereby given that the Manukau City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute certain public works, namely, the provision of a parking place on part Lot 1, Deposited Plan 35850, being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 1806, folio 57, North Auckland Registry, situate at Alfriston Road, Manurewa, of which the council is the occupier and purchaser, and for the purpose of or in connection with such public work it is necessary or convenient that the land described in the Schedule hereto be taken under the above-mentioned Acts.

A plan showing the said land is open for inspection at the offices of the Manukau City Council, situated at David Nathan Park, Hill Road, Manurewa, and Otara Road, Otara.

Every person affected by the execution of the said public works shall set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and shall send the written objection within forty (40) days of the first publication of this notice to the Manukau City Council, David Nathan Park, Hill Road, Manurewa, or Private Bag, Manurewa.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in the City of Manukau containing 1·7 perches, more or less, being part Lot 1, Deposited Plan 39659, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 1083, folio 54, North Auckland Registry, as the same is more particularly shown coloured brown on the said plan and situated at No. 222–224 Great South Road, Manurewa.
