TIMARU CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Timaru City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of part of Turnbull Street at its southern end where it meets North Street in the City of Timaru and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said council, situated in King George’s Place, Timaru, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objection in writing, and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, King George’s Place, Timaru.

0 0 13·9 Lot 5, Deposit Plan 6434, part Rural Section 7555, all the land in certificate of title, Volume 345, folio 199, and known as No. 3 North Street, situated in the City of Timaru.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and its amendments, public notice is hereby given that the Hamilton City Council proposes to execute a certain public work (to wit, the construction of a sewage treatment plant) for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for public utility purposes under the provisions of sections 22 and 23 of the Public Works Act 1928. A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection at the Municipal Offices, Worley Street, Hamilton.
Every person affected who wishes to object to the taking of such land shall set forth in writing such objection (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) and shall send such written objection within 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Hamilton.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece or parcel of land situated in the City of Hamilton containing 5 acres and 28·7 perches (more or less) being Part Lot 2, on Deposited Plan No. 21790, situated in Block XIII, Komakorau Survey District, being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 1200, folio 151, South Auckland Registry, shown on Survey Office Plan No. 42887, and thereon coloured sepia, which said piece of land lies to the east of River Road in the City of Hamilton and abuts on the Kirikiri-roa Stream but has no legal frontage to any street.

UPPER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Upper Hutt require to take the land described in the Schedule hereto in connection with a public work, namely, street, notice is hereby further given that a plan, being numbered 824, of the said land is open for inspection by all persons, without fee, during office hours at the offices of the Upper Hutt Borough Council, Upper Hutt. Every person affected is hereby required to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Upper Hutt Borough Council, Upper Hutt.
SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces of land situate in the Borough of Upper Hutt and fronting the Railway land known as “Goodshed Road” and being:
First: Two roods three decimal six perches (2r. 3·6p.), more or less, being part of Lot 1, D.P. 16673, and being part of the land comprised in and described by certificate of title, Volume 599, folio 69 (Wellington Registry);
Secondly: One rood twelve decimal six perches (1r. 12·6 p.), more or less, being part of Plan A. 1347, and being part of the land comprised in and described by certificate of title, Volume 604, folio 352 (Wellington Registry); and
Thirdly: One rood twenty-three decimal nine perches (1r. 23·9p.), more or less, being part of Lot 1, D.P. 5738, and being part of the land comprised in and described by certificate of title, Volume 294, folio 56 (Wellington Registry).
All of the said pieces of land being parts of Section 127, of the Hutt District, and coloured red on the plan above referred to.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments, notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain public work, namely, in connection with a parking place at The Terrace in the City of Wellington. and for the purpose of that public work the subsoil of the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land, the subsoil of which is required to be taken, is deposited in the Public Office of the Town Clerk to the said council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said City, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by any person during ordinary office hours and that any person affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if he has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, send that written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
SCHEDULE
ALL that the subsoil lying between parallel planes the lower plane being 59 ft above the Wellington City datum and the upper plane being 76 ft above the Wellington City datum of all that piece of land containing by admeasurement one and seven-tenths perches (1·7p.), more or less being part of Section 484, Town of Wellington, being also parts of Lots 2 and 8, on Deeds Plan 203, and being also the land more particularly shown on S.O. Plan 26029, and thereon coloured orange.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Franklin County District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the County of Franklin was approved by the council by resolution passed at a special meeting held on the 18th day of January 1965, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the board had been incorporated.
The council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of March 1965.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the council’s office and in every public library in the district, i.e., at the Patumahoe and Bombay libraries, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.
