Public Notification of Proposed Change of District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Mount Roskill Borough Council made on the 2nd day of February 1965, a change to the district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The change is detailed in the Schedule hereto. This change has been deposited in the office of the Mount Roskill Borough Council, Three Kings, Mount Roskill, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above place is open to the public.

Objections to the proposed change or any part thereof shall be in writing in form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the council at any time not later than 31 March 1965 (a suitable form for the use of objectors is available from the council offices).

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

SCHEDULE

Change No. 18. To rezone from Residential A to Commercial B.1. All that remaining piece of land abutting the existing Commercial B.1 Zone and bounded by Jellicoe Avenue to the north, Dominion Road to the east, and Mount Albert Road to the south.

WAIRARAPA SOUTH COUNTY COUNCIL

Amendments Nos. 1 and 2 to the Wairarapa South County District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the Wairarapa South County Approved District Scheme Amendments Nos. 1 and 2 were approved by the council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 11th day of February 1965 after compliance with all the relevant provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960.

The council has also resolved that the amendments shall come into operation on the 1st day of March 1965.

Copies of the amendments as approved have been deposited in the council’s office and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time that the office is open to the public.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Hutt County District Scheme (Makara Section No. 4) Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the change to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for Hutt County, Makara Section No. 4, was approved by the council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 11th day of February 1965, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the board had been incorporated.

The council has also resolved that the proposed change to the scheme shall come into operation on the 18th day of February 1965.

Copies of the change to the scheme as approved have been deposited in the council’s office and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any any time when that office is open to the public.

PURSUANT to section 13 (2) (or section 38) of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Winton Borough Council taken on 10 February 1965 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £4,900 to be known as the Staff Housing Loan 1964, for the purpose of purchasing a staff house resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ..... 104
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 59
The number of informal votes was ..... ..... 5
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

THE CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF SCHEME
——
IN the matter of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 and in the matter of the will of Arthur John Clarkson, late of Christchurch, in the Dominion of New Zealand, salesman, deceased, notice is hereby given pursuant to section 36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, that the North Canterbury Hospital Board has applied to the Supreme Court at Christchurch for approval of a scheme for disposition of certain trusts funds amounting to approximately £2,250. The said scheme provides that after payment of the costs of the proceedings the balance with any accrued interest thereon be applied by the North Canterbury Hospital Board for general work in radiotherapy research or towards the purchase of radiotherapy apparatus for use in hospitals under the jurisdiction of the said board.

A copy of the said scheme has been deposited in, and may be inspected at, the Registry Office of the Supreme Court at Christchurch. It is proposed that the application for approval be heard at Christchurch, on Wednesday, the 7th day of April 1965, at 10 a.m. Any person desiring to oppose the said Scheme is required to give written notice of his intention to do so to the Registrar of the said Court, and to the North Canterbury Hospital Board, and to the Attorney-General not less than seven clear days before the date proposed for hearing of the application.
