A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of December 1965.

SCHEDULE
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 1 rood 24 perches situated in Block XVI, Mangaoparo Survey District, Gisborne R.D., and being Rotokautuku A 5 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19531, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

The Christchurch City Council Electric Lines Licence 1959, Amendment No. 3

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of December 1965

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Christchurch City Council Electric Lines Licence 1959, Amendment No. 3, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Christchurch City Council Electric Lines Licence 1959* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

  2. The principal order is hereby amended by adding the following paragraphs to the First Schedule thereto:

“5. Lines for the transmission and supply of electrical energy within all that area bounded on one side by Bridle Path Road, being all the land on Deposited Plan No. 22089, Canterbury Land Registry, the said area being more particularly shown coloured green on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 695 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

“6. An underground cable for the transmission of electrical energy commencing at the boundary of the licensee’s licensed area and proceeding in a southerly direction across the Heathcote River, and in an easterly direction to a waterworks pumping station, the route of the said cable being shown by means of a dotted black line on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 694 deposited as aforesaid.”

Authorising Christchurch Ski Club (Inc.) to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Tawera

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of December 1965

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby grants to the Christchurch Ski Club (Inc.) (hereinafter referred to as the licensee) a licence, subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

  1. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

  1. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and shall be an alternating current system.

DURATION OF LICENCE

  1. Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1986 or until a supply of electricity is available from an electric power board or other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.

SCHEDULE

LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described commencing from the licensee’s generator and proceeding by underground cable in a south-easterly direction generally thence (a) in a southerly direction generally to a university ski club hut, (b) in a south-easterly direction to the licensee’s hut, (c) in a south-westerly direction to another university ski club hut.

All being situated in Temple Basin, Block 6, Otira Survey District, in the County of Tawera; the said lines being more particularly shown by means of red lines on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 674, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the assignment to John Kitchener Muldrew, of “Akaroa”, Havelock, farmer, by Andrew Halbertson Paterson, of Christchurch of his rights, powers, and privileges under an Order in Council dated the 15th day of December 1953, and published in the Gazette on the 7th day of January 1954, at page 14.
