OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Maungaturoto Water Supply Additional Loan 1965, £5,500

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £5,500 authorised to be raised by the Otamatea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of refunding to the County Fund Account money spent completing the Maungaturoto Water Supply, the said Otamatea County Council hereby makes a special rate of one decimal two six pence (1·26d.) in the pound upon the rateable value, based on the unimproved value, of all rateable property in the County Town of Maungaturoto in the County of Otamatea; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

This resolution was passed at a meeting of the Otamatea County Council held on Wednesday, 17 November 1965.

TAURANGA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE

Electrical Extension Loan 1965, £100,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Tauranga Electric Power Board held on the 17th day of November 1965, the following resolution was passed:

"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal and interest and other charges in respect of the Tauranga Electric Power Board Electrical Extension Loan 1965, £100,000 authorised to be raised by special order under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy throughout the board's district, the board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one fifth (£th) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Tauranga Electric Power District; and that such special rate shall be payable on 1 December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

TARADALE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Drainage Advances Loan No. 1, 1965, £20,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taradale Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Taradale Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to ratepayers to enable them to connect their properties to the borough sewer system, the Taradale Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal five pence (.5d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Taradale; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully repaid."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Taradale Borough Council on the 24th day of November 1965.

TEMUKA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Temuka Borough Council resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £9,000 authorised to be raised by the Temuka Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the sewer reticulation and advancing moneys to private persons to enable them to connect their properties to the sewer; the said Temuka Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of %10d. (0·6d.) in the £ upon the rateable value of all the rateable property within the Borough of Temuka; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or till the loan is fully paid off."

EKETAHUNA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Eketa-huna Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £1,500 authorised to be raised by the Eketahuna Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing staff housing, the said Eketahuna Borough Council hereby makes a specific rate of nine-sixteenths pence upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Eketahuna Borough, comprising the whole of the Borough of Eketahuna; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan to be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of September and the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £6,250 authorised to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Brixton Water Supply District Loan 1955, £8,000, which matures on 1 February 1966, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes a special rate of one decimal one nought one pence (1·101d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Brixton Water Supply District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 4th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Airport Improvement Redemption Loan 1965, £9,000

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of nine thousand pounds (£9,000) authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Airport Improvement Loan 1955, £65,400, First Issue of £15,000, which matures on 1 February 1966, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and fifty-seven ten thousandths of a penny (0·0157d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
