FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of
the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the
Franklin County Council proposed under the provisions of
the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work,
namely, the provision of a road being portion of Puni-Waiuku
Road, within the County of Franklin, and for the purposes
of such public work and for the use, convenience, and
enjoyment of a road the lands described in the Schedule
hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the
lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office
of the clerk to the said council, situated in Roulston Street,
Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all
persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by and who have well grounded objections
to the execution of the said public work or the taking
of such lands, must state their objections in writing and send
the same within 40 days from the 29th day of November 1965,
being the day of the first publication of this notice, to the
County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby
given that the Matamata County Council proposes under the
provisions of the above-mentioned Act to take the land described
in the First Schedule hereto for road, and to take
the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the use,
convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and notice is hereby
further given that plans showing the land proposed to be
taken are deposited in the public office of the clerk of the
above council, situated at Tirau, and are open for inspection
(without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
Every person affected who wishes to make any objection to
the taking of the said land (not being an objection to the
amount or payment of compensation) must set forth his
objection in writing and send the same within 40 days from
the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk, Tirau.
If any such objection is made, a public hearing of the objection
will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each
objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

PAPATOETOE CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Papatoetoe City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of eighty thousand pounds (£80,000) authorised to be
raised by the Papatoetoe City Council under the above-named
Act for the purpose of providing sewerage reticulation within
the city, the said Papatoetoe City Council hereby makes a
special rate of decimal two eight three six pence in the
pound (·28836d. in the £) upon the rateable value of all
rateable property in the City of Papatoetoe; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day in
August of each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is
fully paid off."

PAPATOETOE CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Papatoetoe City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of seventy thousand pounds (£70,000) authorised
to be raised by the Papatoetoe City Council under the above-
named Act for the purpose of purchasing and developing
land in the St. George Street, Wallace Road, and Cambridge
Terrace area, the said Papatoetoe City Council hereby makes
a special rate of decimal two seven four nought two pence in
the pound (·27402d. in the £) upon the rateable value of
all rateable property in the City of Papatoetoe; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
August in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the
loan is fully paid off."
