Thirdly: All that piece of land situated in the Winton Hundred containing 2 acres 35·8 perches, more or less, being part Section 5, Block VI, of the said Hundred and being part of the land described in Deeds Index E138, 24/365 Southland Registry, being more particularly shown on Survey Office Plan No. 7434, and thereon coloured orange.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Loan

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £400,000 authorised to be raised by Whangarei County Council under the above-mentioned Act for constructing a water supply scheme to provide water supplies for the Marsden Point, One Tree Point, Ruakaka, Waipu, Waipu Cove, and Langs Beach areas, the said Whangarei County Council hereby makes a special rate of 1·45d. upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Whangarei; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000 authorised to be raised by Whangarei County Council under the above-mentioned Act for making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Whangarei County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·15 pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Whangarei; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

BAY OF ISLANDS ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bay of Islands Electric Power Board Renewal Loan No. 5 (1965), £45,000

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments and regulations made thereunder respectively, and all other powers it enabling, the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for repayment of the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £45,000 authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned enactments in order to provide moneys for repayment at maturity of the balance due on Bay of Islands Electric Power Board Reticulation Extension Loan No. 10 (1955), £110,000—first part of £25,000, third part £37,000, and fifth part £7,500—the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixth of a penny (⅙d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Bay of Islands Electric Power District; such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly for a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully repaid.”

Bay of Islands Electric Power Board Development Loan No. 20 (1965), £95,000

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments and regulations made thereunder respectively, and all other powers it enabling, the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the principal, interest, and other charges on the Board’s Development Loan No. 20 (1965) of £95,000 authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the Bay of Islands Electric Power District, and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things which the board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-third of one penny (⅓d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Bay of Islands Electric Power District; such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 11th day of November in each and every year, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully repaid.”

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioner Flats Loan No. 2, 1964, £106,300

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of one hundred and six thousand three hundred pounds (£106,300) to be known as the Pensioner Flats Loan No. 2, 1964, £106,300 which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two twenty-fifths of one penny (²⁄₂₅ths of 1d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
