FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Housing Loan 1965, £4,800

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,800 authorised to be raised by the Feilding Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting a house for Council staff, the said Feilding Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three seven of a penny (·037d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Feilding; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Feilding Borough Council held on 7 October 1965.

OTAGO CENTRAL ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Extensions Loan 1965, £60,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otago Central Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of sixty thousand pounds (£60,000) authorised to be raised by the Otago Central Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the following purposes, purchase of plant, vehicles, and equipment, providing housing and extending lines and substations within the Board’s district, the said Otago Central Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of 0·077 of a penny in the pound on the capital value of the rateable property in the whole of the Board’s district of supply; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st days of June and December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MOUNT MAUNGANUI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Housing Loan No. 3 1965, £15,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Maunganui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing security for interest and other charges on the loan of £15,000 authorised to be raised by the Mount Maunganui Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of purchasing land and the erection of accommodation for aged persons, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought five nine pence (·059d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all the rateable property in the Borough of Mount Maunganui; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Mount Maunganui Borough Council held on the 6th day of September 1965.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTIONS TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
——
Roading Loan 1965, £35,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of thirty-five thousand pounds (£35,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of acquiring land in Bridge Street and Pharazyn Street for roading, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and ninety-one thousandths of a penny (0·191d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate made pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 27 September 1965.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on a loan of £100,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the purchase of land, together with all costs incidental thereto, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·055d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Waitemata; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Waitemata County Council on the 7th day of October 1965.

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Proposed Changes in Gisborne City District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council on 14 September 1965, the Council has recommended that the operative district scheme be changed in respect of the matters listed in the Schedule hereto.

Copies of the proposed changes have been deposited in the City Council Office, Fitzherbert Street, Gisborne, the office of the District Land Registrar, Gisborne, and the Turanganui Public Library, Gisborne, in accordance with section 22 (1) of the Act and are there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the changes or to any part thereof shall be in writing in form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 30 November 1965. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

SCHEDULE

Change No. 3: The land shown coloured chrome yellow on Plan T.P. 24/1, being part of Waiohiharore A 2A Block, be changed from Rural to Industrial D, and the land coloured chrome orange on the same plan be shown as proposed streets.

Change No. 4: The land shown coloured purple lake diluted on Plan T.P. 24/1 be changed from Industrial D to Industrial C (correction of map error).
