Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Waiapu-Matakaoa Development Scheme)
Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 30 June 1933 and published in the Gazette, No. 50, 13 July 1933, Volume II, Page 1902, and registered as No. W. 1641.

Declaration as Subsidised Highway
Notice is hereby given that at its meeting held in Wellington on 19 May 1965 the National Roads Board resolved as follows:
“Pursuant to section 12A of the National Roads Act 1953 the National Roads Board hereby determines that the carriageway of the public highway described as an extension of the West Taupo Road from Tihoi to the south end of Taupaki Road in the Counties of Taupo and Otorohanga, shall be a subsidised highway and the Board further resolves that only the provisions of the National Roads Act empowering the Board to contribute to the cost of construction of the aforesaid carriageway shall apply to the carriageway.”

Bylaw Prohibiting Travel by Cyclists and Pedestrians on Traffic Overbridge on No. 1 State Highway at Colombo Street Intersection, Christchurch
Pursuant to section 13 of the National Roads Act 1953 and section 72 of the Transport Act 1962, the National Roads Board has made the following bylaw.
BYLAW
-
This bylaw may be cited as the National Roads Board Bylaw 1965, No. 4.
-
This bylaw shall come into force on the day after its publication in the Gazette.
-
No person shall ride a bicycle on or over and no pedestrian shall travel on or over the traffic overbridge on State Highway No. 1 in the City of Christchurch at the intersection of Moorhouse Avenue with Colombo Street.
-
Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £20.
This bylaw was made by resolution duly passed at a meeting of the National Roads Board held in Wellington on the 15th day of September 1965.

Pursuant to the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 30 September 1965, amended the under-mentioned standard specification by the incorporation of the amendment shown hereunder:
Number and Title of Specification: NZSS 192:1952 Methods for the testing of concrete.
Amendment: No. 2.
