Govenor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the assignment
to Noel Ian Gillanders, of Tirau, farmer, by Harold Gordon
Wilson, of Tirau, of his rights, powers, and privileges under
an Order in Council dated the 7th day of July 1954 and
published in the Gazette on the 8th day of the same month
at page 1107.

Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, and with the consent of
the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated
the 2nd day of December 1963 and published in the
Gazette on the 5th day of the same month at page 1945,
authorising Roger Maxwell McKinnon, of Taihape, farmer, to
use water for the purpose of generating electricity.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets
apart the Maori freehold lands described in the Schedule
hereto as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a marae
and meeting place for the common use and benefit of the
Ngati-Whakaue and Ngati-Tunohopu subtribes of the Arawa
Tribe and persons associated with these subtribes.

Planning Schemes of Former County of Manukau and
Borough of Manurewa

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1961,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the
following order.
ORDER
-
Notwithstanding the abolition of the Borough of Manu-
rewa and the dissolution of the Manurewa Borough Council
and the inclusion of the borough in the City of Manukau
(effected by Order in Council dated the 25th day of August
1965*), the operative district scheme of the Manurewa Borough
Council under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953
(hereinafter referred to as the said Act), which became opera-
tive on the 16th day of August 1965, shall be deemed to have
remained operative for the whole of the area to which it
related (namely, the Borough of Manurewa) immediately
before the constitution of the said City of Manukau and shall
have effect in respect of that area as if it had been provided
by, and shall henceforth be enforced by, the Manukau City
Council; Provided that the Manukau City Council shall, as
soon as practicable, make such variations of the said operative
district scheme as it considers necessary in consequence of the
constitution of the said City of Manukau. -
Notwithstanding the abolition of the County of Manukau
and the dissolution of the Manukau County Council and the
inclusion of the County in the City of Manukau (effected by
Order in Council dated the 25th day of August 1965*), the
sections specified in the Schedule hereto of the undisclosed
district scheme of the Manukau County Council, prepared
under the authority of section 20 of the said Act and pursuant
to the provisions of a certain notice dated the 3rd day of
December 1957† given by the Minister of Works, shall be
deemed to have remained the undisclosed district scheme for
the whole of the area to which they related (namely, the
County of Manukau) immediately before the constitution of
the City of Manukau; and shall have effect in respect of that
area as if it had been provided by the Manukau City Council,
and may be varied, amended, altered, completed, and made
operative and, when made operative, shall be enforced by that
Council in respect of that area.
SCHEDULE
(a) Section 1 of the said undisclosed district scheme of the
Manukau County Council adopted and recommended by that
Council under section 21 (5) of the said Act by resolution
passed on the 12th day of December 1961, recorded in Minute
No. 3363.
(b) Section 2 of the said undisclosed district scheme of the
Manukau County Council adopted and recommended by that
Council under section 21 (5) of the said Act by resolution
passed on the 16th day of August 1965, recorded
in Minute No. 2293.
