PURSUANT to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the
District Valuation Rolls for the districts enumerated in the
Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at
1 October 1965.

Exempting Land in the South Auckland Land District From
the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the
Governor-General hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby exempted
from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land in the South Auckland Land District
containing 2 roods, more or less, being Lot 43, Deposited Plan
17389, being part of Allotment 79, Parish of Pepepe, excepting
thereout all veins, seams, and beds of coal, fireclay, and all
minerals whatsoever in, upon, or under the said land (con-

veyance 173870-R. 112/262 confirmed by Deed 178252-R.
120/516) and being part of the land comprised and described
in certificate of title, Volume 1298, folio 74 (South Auckland
Registry), subject to the aforesaid mining easement created by
conveyance 173870 (R. 112/262) confirmed by Deed 178252
(R. 120/516).

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
this 23rd day of September 1965.

entered as Surgeon Lieutenant Commander with seniority of

Lieutenant (S) L. M. Hooson promoted to Lieutenant Com-
mander (S) with seniority of 28 May 1965.

Lieutenant A. M. Smith, appointed as Honorary Naval
Relations Officer, Invercargill, from 23 September 1965.

R. N. Crouch entered as Lieutenant with seniority of 23
July 1958 and appointed Olphert, 11 May 1965.
