- The alteration of the boundaries of the said counties hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Counties Act 1956.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in Otago Land District, Clutha County, Glenkenich Riding, containing 35 acres 2 roods, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost point of the land shown on D.P. 5574, Block III, Greenvale Survey District, and proceeding due north to the middle of the original course of the Pomahaka River; thence generally easterly and south-easterly down the middle of that river to a point bearing 29Β° 00β² from the southernmost point of the land shown on D.P. 5574; thence south-westerly along a right line to that point; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of the land shown on D.P. 5574 to the point of commencement.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Waimate Rabbit District Order 1965.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Waimate Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the second day of February 1944,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE WAIMATE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District Waimate County, containing 189,900 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in line with the middle of the Waitaki River and proceeding northerly along the sea coast to a point in line with the southern shore of Wainono Lagoon (R.3190); thence westerly and northerly to and along the southern and western shores of that lagoon to the middle of Wainono Lake Road; thence westerly along the middle of that road to the middle of No. 1 State Highway; thence northerly along the middle of that State highway to a point in line with the middle of Timaru Road (No. 82 State Highway); thence south-westerly generally along the middle lines of Timaru Road, Maytown Road, Whitneys Road, Browns Road, Fitzmaurice Road, Hunt Street, Mill Road, and Parkers Bush Road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Rural Section 19384; thence north-westerly generally to and along that boundary, the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Rural Section 27498, and the north-eastern boundary of Run 249 to the westernmost corner of Rural Section 32523; thence north-westerly along the production of the south-western boundary of Rural Section 32523 to the summit of the Hunters Hills, near Prominent Rock; thence northerly along that summit to the southern boundary of Run 284, being a point on the boundary of the Upper Waihao Rabbit District hereinbefore described; thence westerly along the southern boundary of that run and its production to the middle of the north branch of the Waihao River; thence north-westerly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4080; thence south-westerly generally to and along that boundary and the general south-eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 4082, and its production to the middle of Pentland Hills Road; thence north-westerly along the middle of that road and the southern side of Meyers Pass Road to the south-eastern boundary of Run 283; thence south-westerly generally along the general south-eastern boundaries of Run 283 and 321 to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 3451; thence south-easterly along that boundary and the south-western side of a road forming that boundary to the easternmost corner of that lot; thence south-westerly generally along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 3, D.P. 3451, and 4, D.P. 3452, to the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block V, Elephant Hill Survey District, to the north-western boundary of Rural Section 37557; thence south-westerly along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Waitaki River; thence easterly down the middle of that river to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Taupo Rabbit District Order 1965.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Taupo Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 21st day of October 1953,* are hereby altered and redefined, and as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE TAUP0 RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District in the Otorohanga, Taumarunui, and Taupo Counties containing 430,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Waipapa and Waikato Rivers in Block XVI, Wharepapa Survey District, and proceeding generally easterly, southerly, and westerly up the middle of the Waikato River to the northern shore of Lake Taupo in Block II, Tauhara Survey District, thence generally westerly and southerly along the generally northern and western shores of Lake Taupo to the mouth of the Oruapuraho River, thence westerly generally up the middle of that river, to and up the middle of the Waiwhaanga Stream to its intersection with the production easterly of the generally northern boundary of Hauhungaroa 2c Block in Block VIII, Puketapu Survey District; thence generally westerly along that boundary and the generally northern boundary of Hauhungaroa No. 5 Block to the north-easternmost corner of Hauhungaroa No. 4 Block; thence north-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station No. 2165 (Pakihi) in Block II, Puketapu Survey District; thence generally northerly along the generally western boundaries of part Waihaha No. 1 and Maraeroa A 2, and that last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Ongarue River; thence north-easterly generally up the middle of that river to its source near Trig. Station No. 1390 (Pureora) in Block III, Hurakia Survey District; thence north-westerly along a right line in the direction of Trig. Station 1641 (Rangitoto) in Block IV, Pakaumanu Survey District, to the south-eastern boundary of Maraeroa A 3b 2 in Block XIV, Ranginui Survey District, crossing Maraeroa A 2 and Maraeroa A 3A Blocks; thence along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of Maraeroa A 3b 2, aforesaid, to and along the eastern boundary of Maraeroa A 1, to and along the south-eastern boundary of Pouakani B 7, and the production of that boundary to and down the middle of the Waiteti Stream to a point in Block XI, Ranginui Survey District, due west of Trig. Station 1781 in Block X, Whakamaru Survey District; thence due west along a right line crossing the aforesaid Pouakani B 7 and the Waipapa River to a point due south of the northernmost corner of Section 2, Block VII, Ranginui Survey District; thence along a right line crossing Pouakani A 3b and A 3A and the aforesaid Section 2 to the said northernmost corner; thence along a right line crossing part Wharepuhunga 20 and Pouakani A 2b to the confluence of the Maunukiore Stream and the Waipapa River and down the middle of that river to the point of commencement.
