ORDER
-
(1) This order may be cited as the Upper Waihao Rabbit District Order 1965.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. -
The boundaries of the Upper Waihao Rabbit District, which was constituted on the 1st day of December 1948,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE UPPER WAIHAO RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Waimate County, containing 177,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Waitaki and Hakataramea Rivers and proceeding generally north-easterly up the middle of the Hakataramea River to a point in line with the middle of Peters Stream; thence north-easterly to and along the middle of that stream to and along the south-eastern boundary of Run 65 to the northernmost corner of Run 44; thence south-easterly generally along the north-eastern boundaries of Runs 44 and 47A and the eastern and southern boundaries of Run 47B to the summit of the Hunters Hills; thence southerly along the summit of the Hunters Hills to the southern boundary of Run 284; thence westerly along the southern boundary of that run and its production to the middle of the north branch of the Waihao River; thence north-westerly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4080; thence south-westerly generally to and along that boundary and the generally south-eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 4082, and its production to the middle of Pentland Hills Road; thence north-westerly along the middle of that road and the southern side of Meyers Pass Road to the south-eastern boundary of Run 283; thence south-westerly generally along the generally south-eastern boundaries of run 283 and 321 to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 3451; thence south-easterly along that boundary and the south-western side of a road forming that boundary to the easternmost corner of that lot; thence south-westerly generally along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 3, D.P. 3451, and 4, D.P. 3452, to the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block V, Elephant Hill Survey District; thence south-easterly generally along the south-western boundaries of the said Section 1 and Section 1, Block VI, Elephant Hill Survey District, to the north-western boundary of Rural Section 37557; thence south-westerly along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Waitaki River; thence north-westerly up the middle of the Waitaki River to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

(1) This order may be cited as the Meringa Rabbit District Order 1965.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. -
The boundaries of the Meringa Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 14th day of August 1940,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE MERINGA RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the South Auckland and Wellington Land Districts in the Taumarunui and Taupo Counties, containing 448,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Ongarue River in line with the western boundary of Section 2, Block X, Hurakia Survey District, and proceeding generally easterly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the generally western boundary of Maraeroa A 2 Block in Block VII, Hurakia Survey District; thence generally southerly to and along that boundary and the generally western boundary of part Waihaha
No. 1 to Trig. Station No. 2165 (Pakihi) in Block II, Puketapu Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line to the north-easternmost corner of Hauhungaroa No. 4; thence generally easterly along the generally northern boundaries of Hauhungaroa No. 5 and 2c Blocks to the intersection of the last-mentioned boundary produced with the middle of the Waiwhaanga Stream; thence easterly generally down the middle of that stream and the middle of the Oruapuraho River to the shore of Lake Taupo; thence generally southerly along the generally western shore of Lake Taupo to and up the middle of the Tongariro River and the Waikato River to its source in Block XII, Ruapehu Survey District; thence westerly along a right line to Trig. Station H (Paretetaitonga) in Block XI, Ruapehu Survey District; thence northerly along a right line to Trig. Station D (Ngauruhoe) in Block XVI, Tongariro Survey District, and along a right line to Trig. Station Tongariro, and along another right line between the last-mentioned trig. station and the middle of the mouth of the Waihi Stream in Block V, Puketi Survey District, to and generally north-westerly down the middle of the Wanganui River, along the north-eastern and northern boundaries of the Borough of Taumarunui as described in Gazette 1910, page 3231, to and up the middle of the Ongarue River, to and generally easterly up the middle of the Mangatukutuku Stream, to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 1 and 2, Block III, Tuhua Survey District, along the western and generally northern boundaries of Section 3, Block IV, Tuhua Survey District, to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 13, Block XIV, Ongarue Survey District; thence along a right line across a public road to and along that south-eastern boundary, along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 4, 5, and 6, the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Section 2, the aforesaid sections being of Block IV, aforesaid, along the generally northern boundary of Section 1, Block I, Puketapu Survey District, to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 2, Block I, aforesaid; thence along a right line across a public road to and along the north-western and northern boundaries of the last-mentioned Section 2, to and generally northerly along the western and northern boundaries of part Rangitoto Tuhua No. 10, along the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block XIV, Hurakia Survey District, and a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced, across a public road to and along the southern and western boundaries of Section 5 and the western boundary of Section 2, the last-mentioned sections being of Block X, Hurakia Survey District, crossing an intervening public road, and along a right line, being the last-mentioned western boundary produced, to the middle of the Ongarue River, the point of commencement.
