✨ Boundary Alterations




  1. On and from the date aforesaid the area described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the Borough of Te Puke and included in the County of Tauranga.
  2. The alteration of the boundaries of the said borough and county hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

FIRST SCHEDULE

FIRSTLY, all that area in South Auckland Land District, Tauranga County, situated in Block II, Maketu Survey District, containing 334 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of part Lot 1, D.P. 17893, and proceeding easterly along the northern boundaries of the aforesaid part Lot 1, part Lot 1, D.P. 17893 (secondary school site, Gazette, 1957, page 1182), Lots 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2, D.P. S. 3871, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence along a right line across Cameron Road to and easterly along the northern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. S. 1606, Lot 1, D.P. S. 7727, and part Lot 2, D.P. 11434; thence southerly along the western boundaries of part Lot 1 and Lot 2, D.P. 12809, and easterly along the northern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. S. 1606, Lot 1, D.P. S. 7727, and part Lot 2, D.P. 11434; thence southerly along the western boundaries of part Lot 1 and Lot 2, D.P. 12809, and easterly along the southern boundary of the last-mentioned lot to the north-western side of No. 2 Road; thence generally north-easterly along the generally north-western side of that road to a point due west of the south-westernmost corner of Section 19, Block II, aforesaid; thence due east by a right line across the aforesaid No. 2 Road to that last-mentioned south-westernmost corner; thence northerly along the eastern side of that road to and easterly along the northern boundary of the aforesaid Section 19, to a point in line with the production north-easterly of the south-eastern boundary of Section 18, Block II, aforesaid; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary and the south-eastern boundaries of Section 89, part Section 26, Lot 2, D.P. 29451, Section 27A, Lot 23, D.P. S. 7867, to the easternmost corner of Section 29A, all situated in Block II, aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 29A to the south-eastern side of No. 2 Road; thence by a right line across the said road, to and westerly along the southern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. S. 828, and part Section 16, Block II, aforesaid, to the westernmost corner of that section; thence generally north-easterly along the generally north-western boundaries of the said part Section 16, Lot 1, D.P. S. 8540, and part Lot 1, D.P. 17893, to the point of commencement.
Secondly, all that area in the South Auckland Land District, Tauranga County, situated in Block II, Maketu Survey District, containing 3 acres 2 roods 14Β·6 perches, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. S. 1946, being part Section 23, Block II, aforesaid, and proceeding generally northerly along the generally western boundaries of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, D.P. S. 1946, to and generally south-easterly along the generally north-eastern boundaries of Lot 12, aforesaid, and Lots 11, 13, 14, 15, and part 16, D.P. S. 1946, to the easternmost corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence generally south-westerly along the generally south-eastern boundaries of part Lot 16, aforesaid, and Lots 4, 3, 2, and 1, D.P. S. 1946, to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Te Puke Borough, situated in Block II, Maketu Survey District, containing 70 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the western side of Station Street, in line with the production westerly of the northern boundary of Section 35, Block II, aforesaid, and proceeding easterly along that production to the western side of Seddon Street; thence southerly along that western side to and westerly along the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 1452, southerly, along the western boundaries of the last-mentioned lots, Lots 2 and 3, D.P. S. 1452, easterly along the southern boundary of the last-mentioned lot, again southerly along the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 3065, along a right line across part Lot 2, D.P. 27357, to and again southerly along the western boundaries of Lot 4, D.P. S. 1452, part Section 37A as shown on D.P. 10358, and Lot 1, D.P. 35115, to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence south-westerly along a right line across part Lot 2, aforesaid, to the north-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 12905; thence westerly along the southern boundary of part Lot 2, aforesaid, to the north-westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 12588; thence westerly along a right line to and generally westerly along the generally southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 27357, to and westerly along the southern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 25471, and that boundary produced to meet the eastern side of Station Street; thence southerly along that eastern side to the south-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 25471; thence along a right line across the said street to the southernmost corner of part Lot 6, D.P. 11887, and generally north-westerly along the generally north-eastern side of the Paeroa-Taneatua Railway to its intersection with the southern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 11887; thence easterly along that southern boundary to and south-easterly along a right line parallel to the south-western boundary of Section 56, Block II, aforesaid, to the point of commencement.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council Pursuant to the Local Government Commission Act 1961, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. On and from the 1st day of April 1966 the areas described in the First and Second Schedules hereto are hereby excluded from the County of Bruce and included in the Borough of Milton.
  2. The alteration of the boundaries of the said county and borough hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Bruce County, Tokomairiro Riding, containing 17 acres and 32 perches, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Lot 4, Deeds Plan 361, Block XI, Tokomairiro Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of that lot to a point in line with the south-eastern side of Stewart Road; thence south-westerly to and along the south-eastern side of Stewart Road and its production to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 5967; thence north-westerly and south-westerly along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of that lot and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the south-western side of Springfield Road; thence north-westerly along the south-western side of Springfield Road to a point in line with the north-western side of Johnson Street; thence north-easterly to and along the north-western side of Johnson Street to the easternmost corner of Lot 26, Block IV, Deeds Plan 306; thence south-easterly to and along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 10, Deeds Plan 362, to the point of commencement.
