HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described
in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this
Order in Council, become county road.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that portion of Ash Pit Road, situated in Blocks XIII
and XIV, Ruawaha Survey District, commencing at the
south-western corner of Section 34 of the aforesaid Block
XIII and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction
generally for a distance of approximately 187 chains and
terminating at the south-eastern corner of Section 10 of the
aforesaid Block XIV; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plans marked M.O.W. 19680 (S.O. 42802)
and M.O.W. 19679 (S.O. 42801), deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red and marked A-B and B-C respectively.
Also, all that portion of Tawa Road, situated in Block
XIV, Ruawaha Survey District, commencing at the south-
western corner of Section 12 of the aforesaid Block XIV and
proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally for
approximately 65 chains and terminating at the north-western
corner of Section 11 of the aforesaid Block XIV; as the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 19679 (S.O. 42801), deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red
and marked D-E.

Alteration and Redefinition of Boundaries of Silver Peaks

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and con-
sent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following
order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Silver Peaks Rabbit
District Order 1965.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the
date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Silver Peaks Rabbit District,
which was constituted by Order in Council on the 25th day
of January 1956,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as
from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of
the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE SILVER PEAKS RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Taieri and
Waikouaiti Counties, containing 80,515 acres, more or less,
bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of
the Taieri River in line with the southern boundary of
Section 2, Block VII, Nenthorn Survey District, and pro-
ceeding generally north-easterly and southerly along the
north-western and eastern boundaries of Silver Peaks Rabbit
District as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1960, page
1500, to Trig. Station “S” Swampy Spur; thence westerly
along the northern boundary of Dunedin and East Taieri
Survey District to the north-western corner of Section 9,
Block III, Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District; thence
generally south-westerly along the north-western boundaries
of Sections 9, 8, 7, and 6, Block III aforesaid, to the western-
most corner of the last-mentioned section; thence generally
westerly along a right line to and along the southern side
of a road forming the northern boundaries of Sections 38,
1136R, 1 of 28, and the land shown on D.P. 3342, Block II,
Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, to the south-
eastern side of the Otago Central Railway; thence generally
north-easterly and north-westerly along the south-eastern
and north-eastern sides of that railway to the south-western
corner of Section 1, Block I, Silverpeak Survey District,
being a point 298·2 links north-eastward of the northern-
most corner of Crown land, Block I aforesaid; thence south-
westerly to and along the north-western boundary of that
Crown land and its production to the middle of the Taieri
River; thence generally northerly up the middle of that
river to the point of commencement.
