Allocating Railway Land to the Purpose of a Motorway in
the Borough of Green Island

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrow-
clogh, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto (which was taken for railway purposes and
is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon the
publication hereof in the Gazette, become motorway, and
that such motorway shall be maintained by the National
Roads Board in like manner as other public highways are
controlled and maintained by the said Board.
