Road Closed and Added to Land Held for a Public School in Block IX, Awhitu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim that the road described in the First Schedule hereto is closed and added to the land held for a public school described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of road containing 8·8 perches situated in Block IX, Awhitu Survey District, North Auckland R.D., and adjoining or passing through part Allotment 413, Parish of Waipipi; coloured green on plan.

SECOND SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block IX, Awhitu Survey District, North Auckland R.D., described as follows:

2 3 39·4 Part Allotment 236, Parish of Waipipi; coloured yellow on plan.
1 0 9·7 Part Allotment 413, Parish of Waipipi; coloured blue on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2889 (S.O. 42805), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of Part I of the Housing Improvement Act 1945.

Altering the Boundaries of the Hauraki United Drainage District and the Hauraki South Drainage District

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 and the Land Drainage Act 1908, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, alters the boundaries of the Hauraki United Drainage District and the Hauraki South Drainage District by excluding the land described in the Schedule hereto from the Hauraki United Drainage District and including the said land in the Hauraki South Drainage District.

SCHEDULE

LAND to be excluded from Hauraki United Drainage District and included in the Hauraki South Drainage District:

All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Hauraki Plains County, bounded by a line commencing at the westernmost corner of Section 70, Block VI, Waihou Survey District, and proceeding generally north-westerly along the generally north-eastern boundary of Section 69, Block VI, aforesaid, to and generally north-easterly along the generally south-eastern side of a public road, and that last-mentioned roadside produced across another public road, to and north-westerly along the north-eastern side of the public road, to and generally easterly along the generally southern side of the Karepehi-Turua road, to and generally south-easterly along the generally south-western side of State Highway No. 2, crossing the intervening Kaikahu Road, to and generally north-westerly along the generally south-western side of Kaikahu Road, to and south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of part Makumaku 3b Block and Section 70, aforesaid, to the point of commencement.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19613, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

At the Government House at Wellington this 8th day of September 1965

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground for the common use and benefit of the Maori people generally.
