Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

At the Government House at Wellington this 8th day of September 1965
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place for the common use and benefit of Maoris generally.

Postponing the Revision of District Valuation Rolls

PURSUANT to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the revision of the District Valuation Rolls enumerated in the first column of the Schedule hereto shall be postponed, and that such revision shall thereupon be made not later than as at the dates specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

PURSUANT to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the District Valuation Rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 1 September 1965.

Validating Irregularity in Connection With Special Order Made By Hutt County Council

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Counties Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
THE resolution by way of special order, made by the Hutt County Council (hereinafter referred to as the Council) at a meeting of the Council held on the 12th day of August 1965, increasing the number of councillors to be elected to represent the Wainuiomata Riding of the Hutt County and the total number of members of the Council, shall be valid to all intents and purposes as if the resolution had been passed at a special meeting of the Council called in accordance with section 86 of the Counties Act 1956 and that resolution shall not be called in question by reason only of the failure to call a special meeting as aforesaid.

PURSUANT to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1955, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby abolishes the Manuwao Rural Fire District, and revokes the order constituting that district made on the 23rd day of March 1949, and published in the Gazette in 1949, Volume I, page 848.
