Pursuant to the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 31 August 1965, declared the under-mentioned specifications to be standard specifications:

The Standards Act 1941—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification No. D 8140—Wine Bottles
Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above-mentioned draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.
All persons who may be affected by this specification and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies on loan from the New Zealand Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C. 1.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 15 October 1965.

Pursuant to section 7 of the Standards Act 1941, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 24 August 1965, approved of the recommendation of the Standards Council that the under-mentioned standard recommendation be adopted:
Number and Title: NZSR 10: Care and maintenance of floor surfaces – Part 1:1965 Wooden flooring; being BS/CP 209:Part 1:1963 with Amendment No. A.

The Standards Act 1941—Amendment of Standard Specification
Pursuant to the Standards Act 1941 and the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, on 31 August 1965, amended the under-mentioned standard specification by the incorporation of the amendment shown hereunder:
Number and Title of Specification: NZSS 388:1950 Air-break switches (including isolating switches, totally enclosed and flameproof types) for voltages not exceeding 660 volts; being BS 861:1939.
Amendment: No. A (including amendment to the title).
Application for copies of the standard specification so amended should be made to the N.Z. Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C. 1, or to the Government Bookshops at Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin.
Copies of the amendment will be supplied, free of charge, upon request.

Fixing the Number of Members to be Elected for Each Ward of the Te Awamutu Rabbit District (Notice No. Ag. 8240)
Pursuant to section 25A of the Rabbits Act 1955, the Te Awamutu Rabbit Board hereby declares that the number of members to be elected for each ward of the Te Awamutu Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 19th day of August 1961, shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of the ward.

Notice Declaring Portion of State Highway to be One-way Road
Pursuant to National Roads Bylaw 1961, No. 1,* the National Roads Board hereby gives notice that the section of No. 1 State Highway, passing under the Sockburn overbridge as delineated on Ministry of Works Plan No. 11344, shall be a one-way road, and traffic on this section shall proceed only in a north-westerly direction, and directs that signs be erected accordingly.

National Roads Board—Notice Concerning the Stopping of Vehicles on Roads
It is hereby notified that, pursuant to National Roads Board Bylaw 1958, No. 1,* the Board has, by resolution carried at its meeting on 18 August 1965, prohibited the stopping of vehicles on the portions of the State highway described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
No. 1, State Highway, Tongariro Street, Taupo Borough, at its intersections with Redoubt Street and Spa Road, as shown in yellow on plan M.O.W. 11432.
