MANAWATU-OROUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

The Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board Reconstruction Loan 1965, £100,000

Pursuant to section 45 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1965, the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred thousand pounds (£100,000) authorised to be raised by the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of general reconstruction and extension of the board's reticulation system, the said Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of one-tenth (1/10th) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board District, as defined in the Proclamation appearing in the Gazette, No. 40, 16 June 1955, pages 963-964; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off".

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board held at Palmerston North on the 19th day of July 1965.

CHEVIOT COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Cheviot County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one thousand two hundred and fifty pounds (£1,250) authorised to be raised by the Cheviot County Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of completing the construction of a sewage and sullage disposal system and treatment works in the Cheviot Urban Drainage Area, and meeting costs incidental thereto, the Cheviot County Council hereby makes a special rate of point eight pence (0'8d.) in the pound on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Cheviot Urban Drainage Area; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that the special rate shall be subject in all respects to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956."

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Elderly Persons Housing Loan No. 4, 1965, of £100,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £100,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0'06d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the above-mentioned date.

DUNEDIN DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan 1965, of £35,900

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £35,900 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Drainage Extension Loan 1954, which matures on 15 September 1965, the said Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby makes a special rate of 0'086d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Dunedin and the Borough of St. Kilda, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin and the Borough of St. Kilda, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of five (5) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board on the above-mentioned date.

INVERCARGILL CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan No. 5, 1965, £123,400

"THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £123,400 authorised to be raised by the Invercargill City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repayment of city council securities maturing on the 1st day of October 1965 and the 1st day of December 1965, the said Invercargill City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one five six pence (0'156d.) in the pound on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Invercargill, and that the said special rate shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of December in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 21 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Invercargill City Council held on Tuesday, 24 August 1965.

BLUFF BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Bluff Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £5,000 authorised to be raised by the Bluff Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the completion of construction of a water holding tank, the said Bluff Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0'22d. (nought point two two pence) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Bluff, comprising the whole of the Borough of Bluff; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 15th day of January and the 15th day of July in each and every year during currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
