Pursuant To: Consent of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board under section 35 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, dated 5 May 1965, Appeal No. 2/65.
Applicant: Whangarei and County Pipe Band Society (Incorporated).
Terms of Consent: To permit the applicant to use all that land situated in Rawhiti Street, containing 1 rood 25·7 perches, being Lot 2, D.P. 16003, as a band room and social hall, notwithstanding that the land is zoned Industrial C in the Whangarei City Council’s District Scheme and subject to the following conditions:
(a) That practice hours be limited to the hours of 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on one night per week provided that such hours may be extended for the purposes of intensive practice prior to the annual competitions.
(b) That compliance be made with Ordinance 19 of the Code of Ordinances forming part of the district scheme of the whole of the use now applied for.
(c) That compliance be made with city bylaws from time to time in force and with any conditions that the council may impose on the later submission of full plans and specifications for alterations and for the use of the building as a conditional use under Ordinance 8 of the Code of Ordinances.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Mount Roskill Borough Council District Scheme—Public Notification of Proposed Changes
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Mount Roskill Borough Council made on the 10th day of August 1965, changes to the district scheme have been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The changes are listed in the Schedule hereto. These changes have been deposited in the office of the Mount Roskill Borough Council, Three Kings, and are there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above place is open to the public.
Objections to the proposed changes or any part thereof shall be in writing in form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the council at any time not later than 18 October 1965. (A suitable form for the use of objectors is available from the council offices.) At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

Mount Eden Borough District Scheme—Public Notification of Proposed Change
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Mount Eden Borough Council made on 24 August 1965, a change to the district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The change is detailed in the Schedule hereto. This change has been deposited in the office of the Mount Eden Borough Council, 64 Valley Road, Mount Eden and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above place is open to the public.

KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Kairanga County Council will be determining an application received from J. M. McDonald, storekeeper, of Aokautere, for the conditional use in a rural zone of land situated on State Highway No. 57A and described as Lots 6 and 7, D.P. 20089, being part Sections 225 and 226, Fitzherbert Township, Block XI, Kairanga S.D., for the purpose of erecting thereon a petrol service station garage.
Every person who claims to be affected may object to the proposed conditional use and shall have a right to be heard by the Council in person, or by counsel, and to call evidence in support of his contentions, if he advises the Council to that effect in writing, not later than Monday, 13 September 1965. Every such notice shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard in support of his objection.

Public Notification of Variations to District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Ashburton Borough Council made on 2 August 1965, the following variation has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
The variation relates to:
The alteration of the zoning of T.S. 473 Havelock Street from Residential “A” to Commercial “C” and the realignment of the Service Lane.
Part plan of the Ashburton Borough District Scheme embodying the proposed amendment has been deposited in the Municipal Chambers, Havelock Street, Ashburton, and the Public Library in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and is there for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the variation or to any part thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the first Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 14 October 1965. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.
