NELSON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £30,000 to be known as the Street Works Loan No. 2, 1965, authorised to be raised by the Nelson City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reconstructing Waimea Road, constructing The Ridgeway between Marsden Road and Isel Place, and purchasing land in connection therewith, the Nelson City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·17397 pence in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all the rateable property in the City of Nelson comprising the whole of the said city; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed by the Nelson City Council at a meeting held in the City Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on the 19th day of August 1965.

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £16,000 to be known as the Gasworks Loan 1965 authorised to be raised by the Nelson City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of renewing the top lift of the large gas holder, the Nelson City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·05476 pence in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all the rateable property in the City of Nelson comprising the whole of the said city; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is paid off.

TAURANGA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan 1965, £60,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Tauranga Electric Power Board, held on the 18th day of August 1965, the following resolution was passed:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and sinking fund contributions and other charges in respect of the Tauranga Electric Power Board Renewal Loan 1965, £60,000, authorised to be raised by resolution under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of repaying on maturity the balance of the Electrical Extension Loan 1955, which matures on 1 October 1965, the Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅓d. in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Tauranga Electric Power Board District; and that such special rate shall be payable on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PAEROA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Paeroa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £8,000, entitled the Sewer Loan 1965, authorised to be raised by the Paeroa Borough Council for extending the sewerage system within the borough, the said Paeroa Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of twenty-two one-hundredths of a penny upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Paeroa; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true extract from the minutes of a meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council held on the 12th day of August 1965.

GORE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Mataura River Flood Protection Loan, 1963, £5,700
THE Gore Borough Council, at its meeting held on 16 August 1965, passed the following resolution in respect of the second issue of £2,600 of the above loan:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,600 authorised to be raised by the Gore Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act, the said Gore Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two eight nought pence (·0280d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Gore; and the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st days of April and October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Abattoir Reconstruction Loan 1965, £88,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of £88,000 to be known as the Abattoir Reconstruction Loan 1965 authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the reconstruction of the municipal abattoir, the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of three hundred and six thousandths of a penny (0·306d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru City Council held on the 23rd day of August 1965.
