THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

continuing along the northern boundary of Allotment 103,
and along the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle
of a public road; thence along the middle of that road
forming the generally north-western boundary of Allotment
52, to and along the middle of another public road forming
the southern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 10267, and of Allot-
ment S.W. 45, and forming part of the south-eastern boundary
of Allotment N.E. 44, and along the end of that road to and
along the south-eastern boundaries of Allotments N.E. 44
and M. 44 and along the last-mentioned boundary produced
to the middle of the Anawhata Stream, all the aforesaid
allotments being of Waitakere Parish; thence down the
middle of that stream to the sea coast, and then northerly
generally along the sea coast to the point of commencement,
and including therein the area known as Herald Island,
referred to in Gazette, 1953, page 1429.

Special Order Made by Raglan County Council Altering
Riding Boundaries

PURSUANT to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the
Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby publishes the following
special order made by Raglan County Council.

SPECIAL ORDER

In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of
the Counties Act 1956 and amendments thereto, the Raglan
County Council hereby resolves by way of special order as
follows:

(1) That the boundaries of the Pukemiro and Waingaro
Ridings be altered to agree with the description furnished
by the Chief Surveyor and as shown in the Schedule hereto.
(2) That the alterations hereby made shall take effect as
and from the 31st day of August 1965.

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF PUKEMIRO RIDING

All that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded
by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the
Waikato River in Block III, Rangiriri Survey District, in
line with the southern boundary of Allotment 17A 1,
Whangape Parish, and proceeding generally along the eastern
boundary of the Raglan County as described in Gazettes,
1959, page 469, and 1963, page 2041, to a point in Block IV,
Newcastle Survey District, in line with the north-western
boundary of Allotment 2A, Pepepe Parish; thence along a
right line to and along the north-western and south-western
boundaries of that allotment, and the south-western boun-
daries of Allotment 2B, the western boundaries of Lots 2
and 1, D.P. 20012, and Lot 5, D.P. 23117, crossing an
intervening public road, along the north-eastern and north-
western and western boundaries of Lot 3, and the north-
western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 23117, aforesaid, the
north-western boundaries of an area of Crown land (Church
mission land) and Allotments 105B 1, 105B 2, and 105A,
the northern and western boundaries of Allotment 107, the
western boundaries of Allotments 108, 120, 121, 122, and 123,
the aforesaid allotments all being of Pepepe Parish; to the
northern boundary of Allotment 44, Waipa Parish in Block
VII, Newcastle Survey District; thence generally westerly
along that boundary and the generally northern boundaries
of Allotments 27 and 300, Parish of Waipa, and the last-
mentioned boundary produced across a public road to the
north-eastern corner of part Allotment N 220 of the aforesaid
parish; thence generally northerly along the generally western
side of that last-mentioned public road, to the easternmost
corner of Lot 18, D.P. 1279; thence south-westerly and
north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western
boundaries of that lot, to and generally westerly along the

generally northern boundaries of Lot 4, D.P. 33176, and
Lot 1, D.P. S. 9302, to and generally northerly and generally
south-westerly along the generally eastern and generally
north-western boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 33176, to and
south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Lot 1,
D.P. 33176, and Lot 9, D.P. 1280, to the generally eastern
side of a public road; thence generally northerly along that
roadside to and along the northern side to the Ngaruwahia-
Waiingaro Main Highway, the Waiingaro-Rotowaro road,
and Otorohaea Road to a point in line with the northern
boundary of Section 2, Block I, Newcastle Survey District;
thence along a right line to and along the northern boundary
of that Section 2, to and along the eastern and northern
boundaries of part Lot 11, D.P. 1280, the eastern and
northern boundaries of Allotment 199, and the eastern
boundaries of Allotments 222 and 195, Pepepe Parish,
aforesaid, crossing an intervening public road, to and north-
easterly along the north-western boundary of part Allotment
193, along the north-western boundary of part Lot 1,
D.P. 32583, along the south-western boundary of Lot 2,
D.P. 25772, along the south-western and north-western
boundaries of Lot 4, D.P. 31558, to and northerly along
the south-western boundaries of the land shown on D.P.
23536, and Lot 1, D.P. 32106, in Block IX, Rangiriri
Survey District, and the last-mentioned boundary produced
across the Ruawaro Road, to and along its northern side,
to and along the eastern boundary of Section 7 of Block
IX, aforesaid, along the southern and western boundaries
of Lot 3 of Section 1, Block V, Rangiriri Survey District,
crossing Lot 4, D.P. 22852, the western boundary of Lot 2
of Section 1, aforesaid, and that boundary produced across
a public road to the shores of Lake Whangape; thence
northerly generally along the south-eastern shores of the
said lake to the northern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 28728;
thence generally easterly along the generally northern
boundaries of that lot and Lot 2 on the said plan, along
the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 7, Block VI,
Rangiriri Survey District, to and along the northern
boundary of Lot 1 of Section 9, of the said block, and
its production across the Rotongaro-Rangiriri road; thence
along the eastern side of that road, to and along the
southern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 29186, and along a right
line bearing 45Β° from the eastern corner of the aforesaid
Lot 2, across a public road to the shores of Lake Roto
Ngaro; thence along the shores of the said lake, to and
along the western and northern boundaries of Allotment 80
and the northern boundaries of part Allotment 68, and
Allotments 17c 2B and 17D and its production across
Rangiriri - Huntly West road to and along its eastern side,
to and along the northern boundaries of part Allotment
17B, all the aforesaid allotments being of Whangape Parish,
and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle
of the Waikato River, the point of commencement.

WAINGARO RIDING

ALL that area in the County of Raglan, bounded by a line
commencing at a point in Block III .of Whaingaroa Survey
District, being the north-western corner of Allotment 216
of the Parish of Pepepe, and running easterly generally
along the southern boundary of the Whangape Riding,
as described in Gazette, 1956, page 1459, to a point in
Block XVI, Awaroa Survey District, being the southern-
most corner of Lot 9, as shown on the plan numbered
8023, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar
at Auckland, being part of Allotment 89 of the Parish
of Whangape; thence along the western and southern
boundaries of Allotment 193 of the Parish of Pepepe,
crossing an intersecting public road, to and along the
western boundary of part of Allotment 192 of the said
Parish of Pepepe, to and along the western and southern
sides of a public road to a point in line with the southern
boundary of the aforesaid part of Allotment 192; thence
along a right line across that public road, to and along
the southern boundary of the said part of Allotment 192,
to and along the western boundary of Lot 24, as shown
on the plan numbered 1280, deposited as aforesaid, being
part of Allotment 166 of the said parish, and a right line
across a public road, to and along another part of the
western boundary of the said Lot 24, the western boundary
of Allotment 166B of the said Parish of Pepepe, and
another part of the western boundary of the said Lot 24,
and a right line across a public road, to and along the
remaining part of the western boundary; thence along the
southern boundary of the said Lot 24, and a right line being
the last-mentioned boundary produced across a public road,
to and along another part of the southern boundary of
the said Lot 24, to a point in line with the north-western
boundary of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 30544,
deposited as aforesaid, being part of the said Allotment
166; thence along a right line across a public road, to
and along the said north-western boundary, the north-
western boundary of Lot 15, as shown on the said plan
numbered 1280, deposited as aforesaid, being part of the
said Allotment 166, the western boundaries of Lots 1 and
2, as shown on the plan numbered 16174, deposited as
aforesaid, being parts of the said Allotment 166, thence
generally easterly and generally southerly along the boun-
daries of the Pukemiro Riding as hereinbefore described,
to the south-eastern corner of Lot 5, D.P. 33176; thence
easterly along a right line across a public road, to and
along the southern boundary of Lot 15, as shown on the
