✨ Electric Lines Licences
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
- The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (d), (e), and (f) of regulation 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be an alternating-current system.
PROVISION OF BEACONS
- The licensee shall erect and maintain 6 ft white triangular transit beacons along the route of the submarine cable described in the Schedule hereto. Such beacons are to be placed in transit at each end, are to be marked “Power Cable”, and are to be approved in accordance with section 203 of the Harbours Act 1950.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1986.
SCHEDULE

A submarine cable for the transmission of electrical energy commencing at a point at Waikopou Bay in Waiheke Island in the Hauraki Gulf and proceeding in a north-easterly direction across part of the Waiheke channel to a point on the western coast of Pakatoa Island, the said cable being more particularly shown by means of a red line on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 667 deposited at the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
This order may be cited as the Central Waikato Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1964, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Central Waikato Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1964* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

The principal order is hereby amended by deleting from Clause 2 thereof the words “within the area of supply”.

The principal Order is hereby further amended by deleting the First Schedule thereto and substituting the following:
FIRST SCHEDULE
“Electric lines and electric works which may from time to time be required for the distribution and supply of electricity within—
“(1) The Central Waikato Electric Power District as defined in the Fourth Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 25th day of July 1939 and published in the Gazette on the 27th day of the same month at page 2042; and
“(2) All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Piako County, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of part Hoe-o-Tainui South 1A 2 Block situated in Block XVI, Hapuakohe Survey District, and proceeding easterly along the northern boundaries of part Hoe-o-Tainui South 1A 2 Block aforesaid, and Hoe-o-Tainui South 1B 5 Block to the intersection with the eastern boundary of Block XVI, aforesaid; thence southerly along that boundary to its intersection with the north-western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 33123; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the north-western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 26912, to and generally southerly along the generally western boundary of that part Lot 1, aforesaid, to and westerly along the southern boundaries of Lots 4 and 3, D.P. S. 862, to the western boundary of the Thames Valley Electric Power District as described in Gazette, 1950, page 238; thence northerly along that boundary to the point of commencement, the said area being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 679, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington, and thereon edged red.”

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

This order may be cited as the Kaikoura County Council Electric Lines Licence 1965.

Subject to the conditions hereafter set forth, the Kaikoura County Council (hereinafter referred to as the licensee) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the First Schedule hereto.

The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (j) of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The system of supply authorised under paragraph (j) shall be a single-conductor earth-return system, and the use thereof shall be subject to the terms and conditions laid down by the General Manager of the New Zealand Electricity Department.

This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 1986.

The Orders in Council specified in the Second Schedule hereto, authorising the licensee to use electric lines, are hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy within all that area in the Marlborough Land District, Kaikoura County, bounded by a line commencing in Block VI, Hundalee Survey District, at the intersection of the mean high-water mark of the sea and the right bank of the Kahutara River, and proceeding north-westerly and westerly along the said right bank to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 3, Block V, Hundalee Survey District; thence generally southerly to and along the said eastern boundary and westerly along the southern boundaries of Sections 3 and 2, Block V, aforesaid, and Section 2, Block IV, Hundalee Survey District, to the eastern boundary of Section 3, Block IV, Hundalee Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary and westerly along the southern boundary of the said Section 3 and the southern end of a public road to the western side of the said public road; thence northerly along the said western side of a public road to the southern boundary of Section 14, Block III, Hundalee Survey District; thence south-westerly generally along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 14, and southerly along the eastern boundaries of Section 10, Block IX, and S.G.R. 157 in Block XIII, Hundalee Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the said S.G.R. 157; thence generally westerly along the southern boundaries of the said S.G.R. 157 and Section 4, Block XIII, aforesaid, to the southern-most corner of the said Section 4; thence southerly and south-westerly along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 6, Block XIII, aforesaid, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the right bank of the Spey River; thence south-westerly generally along the said right bank to its junction with the left bank of the Conway River; thence generally northerly along the said left bank of the Conway River to its source and along a right line to Palmer Saddle; thence north-westerly along a right line to Mount Ross; thence due west to the right bank of the Clarence River in Block X, Acheron Survey District; thence north-easterly along the said right bank of the Clarence River to its junction, in Block IV, Kaitarau Survey District, with the left bank of Jam Stream; thence southerly along the said left bank to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Run 205 in Block III, Kaitarau Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along a right line to the said boundary, and along that boundary to Triangulation Station R. George Spur, in Block VII of the said district; thence generally south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of S.G.R. 105B and its continuation to the northern-most corner of S.G.R. 106 and along the north-eastern boundary of the said S.G.R. 106 to the western boundary of Section 31, Block XIII, Puhi Puhi Survey District; thence southerly and easterly along the western boundary of the said Section 31 and the western and southern boundaries of Section 32, Block XIII, Puhi Puhi Survey District, to the north-western boundary of part Section 3C 2 of 2 Manga-
