THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
in line with the south-eastern boundary of Ohotu 2A Block,
to and along the said south-eastern and the north-eastern
boundaries of that block, the south-eastern boundary of
Ohotu 2B, and its production to the middle of the Haparapara
River, down the middle of that river to the northern boundary
of part Te Karaka No. 2 Block; thence westerly generally
along that boundary and the northern boundaries of Lot 1,
L.T. 11455 (AK), and part Whara'whara No. 26, and its
production across a public road to and along the northern
boundary of the said No. 26 to the sea coast in Block I,
Haparapara Survey District; thence north-easterly generally
along the sea coast to Potikirua, the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE
COAST RIDING
All that area in the Gisborne Land District, Opotiki County,
bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast,
being the north-eastern corner of Opape 1A 19 in Block I,
Waiaua Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly generally
along the north-eastern boundary of the said 1A 19, and its
production across State Highway No. 35 to and along the said
north-eastern boundary, the north-eastern boundaries of Opape
1K 1L 2, 1M, 1N, 1°, 1P, 1R 1, 1R 2, 1S, 1T, No. 8, No. 9,
No. 10, No. 11, 12K and C, 12DYE, to the easternmost
corner of the last-mentioned block, along the eastern boundary
of Opape 12DYE, and its production across a public road, to
and along the said eastern boundary to the north-western
corner of Section 5, Block XI, Waiaua Survey District; thence
easterly generally along the northern boundary of the said
Section 5 and its production across a public road to and along
the northern boundaries of Sections 3 and 2, Block XI, Sections
1 and 2, Block XII, the abutment of a public road, Lots 1
and 2 of Section 3, Block XII, Waiaua Survey District, the
southern boundaries of Kapuarangi No. 1 west, Lot 1, L.T.
10163 (AK), the south-western boundary of Kapuarangi No.
2, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the
middle of the Motu River; thence northerly generally down
the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle
of the Te Kahika Stream in Block VI, Maungawaru Survey
District, being a point on the boundary of Cape Riding;
thence northerly generally along the boundary of Cape Riding
as described in the First Schedule to the sea coast in Block
I, Haparapara Survey District; thence south-westerly generally
along the sea coast to the point of commencement.

Riding Boundaries
PURSUANT to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary
for Internal Affairs hereby publishes the following special
order made by Matamata County Council.

SPECIAL ORDER
IN exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of the
Counties Act 1956 and amendments thereto, the Matamata
County Council resolves by way of special order, as follows:
- That the present boundaries of the Tokoroa and Maungaiti
Ridings be altered by the transfer of an area from the
Maungaiti Riding to the Tokoroa Riding. - That the boundaries of the Tokoroa and Maungaiti
Ridings be those set forth in the Schedule hereto. - That the alterations hereby made shall take effect as
from the 1st day of October 1965.
SCHEDULE
ALTERING AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TOKOROA
AND MAUNGAITI RIDINGS OF THE COUNTY OF MATAMATA
Tokoroa Riding
All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Matamata
County, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost
corner of Lot 1, D.P. S. 3927, situated in Block VIII, Patetere
South Survey District, and proceeding southerly and westerly
along the eastern and southern boundaries of that lot, and
the last-mentioned boundary produced to the generally western
side of State Highway No. 1; thence generally southerly
along that side to its intersection with the generally north-
western side of Campbell Road, situated in Block XII of the
aforesaid survey district; thence generally south-westerly
along that roadside to the easternmost corner of Lot 25,
D.P. 23865, being a point on the south-western side of the
Tokoroa Branch Railway; thence north-westerly along that
side to and south-westerly along the north-western boundaries
of Lots 20 and 19, D.P. 23865, to the intersection of the
last-mentioned boundary with the middle line of the Matarawa
Stream situated in Block XI of the aforesaid survey district;
then generally northerly down the middle of that stream
to a point in line with the production westerly of the northern
boundary of Lot 8, D.P. S. 9202, situated in Block VII of
the aforesaid survey district; thence easterly along the western
production of that boundary, to the westernmost corner of the
said Lot 8, being a point on the eastern side of Paraonui
Road; thence northerly along that roadside, to and north-
easterly along the north-western boundary of part Lot 6, D.P.
23866, to and generally northerly along the generally western
side of the Tokoroa Branch Railway, aforesaid, to the
northernmost corner of part Lot 4, D.P. 23866; thence north-
easterly along a right line to the westernmost corner of Lot
13, D.P. 31492, situated in Block VIII, aforesaid; thence
generally southerly along the generally eastern side of the
aforesaid railway, to its intersection with the middle line of
the Whakauru Stream, thence generally south-easterly up the
middle of that stream to a point bearing 18° 30', 40 links
from the northernmost corner of Lot 14, D.P. 22967; thence
southerly along a right line to that corner, and south-easterly
along the north-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 14 and
part Lot 15, D.P. 22967, Lot 6, D.P. S. 2424, to the generally
northern side of Mossops Road; thence due south along a
right, line across that road to its generally southern side,
and westerly along that southern side to the point of
commencement.
Maungaiti Riding
All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Matamata
County, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of
the production westerly of the northern boundary of the
land shown on D.P. 21718, with the middle line of the
Waikato River, situated in Block VIII, Wharepapa Survey
District, and proceeding easterly to and along that northern
boundary, to and northerly, easterly, and again northerly
along the western, northern, and western boundaries of Lot
1, D.P. 21950, and northerly along the western end of
Maraetai Road and the western boundary of Lot 2, D.P.
21950, situated in Block V, Patetere South Survey District,
to and generally easterly along the generally northern
boundaries of that Lot 2, and Lot 46, D.P. 13757, to the
generally western side of Old Taupo Road, situated in Block
VII of the aforesaid survey district; thence north-easterly
along a right line across that road, to the westernmost corner
of Lot 36, D.P. 23867; thence north-easterly along the north-
western boundaries of Lots 36, 35, 34, part 33, part 32, and
Lot 31, D.P. 23867, and that last-mentioned boundary produced
across Paraonui Road to the north-western corner of
Lot 1, D.P. S. 9679; thence generally north-easterly along
the generally north-western boundaries of that lot and part
Lot 4, D.P. 520, situated in Block VIII of the aforesaid survey
district, to the northernmost corner of that last-mentioned
part Lot 4, being a point on the Tokoroa Riding herein-
before described; thence generally southerly, easterly, and
northerly along the generally western, southern, and eastern
boundaries of the Tokoroa Riding hereinbefore described,
to the westernmost corner of Lot 13, D.P. 31492, thence
north-easterly along the north-western boundary of the afore-
said Lot 13, along a right line across State Highway No. 1,
to and again north-easterly along the north-western boundaries
of Lot 1, D.P. S. 7261, part Lot 1 and Lot 2, D.P. S. 6891,
to the northernmost corner of the said Lot 2, being a point
on the left bank of the Pokaiwhenua Stream; thence generally
easterly along that left bank to its intersection with the
generally western boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 20030; thence
generally northerly along that boundary and the generally
western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 20030, to the northern-
most corner of that part Lot 1; thence generally south-easterly
along the generally north-eastern boundary of part Lot 1,
aforesaid, to Trig. Station Pukerimu situated in Block III,
Ngautuku Survey District, and easterly along the northern
boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 20031, to the southernmost corner of
Block III, Horohoro West Survey District; thence north-
easterly along the boundary between the Horohoro West and
Horohoro Survey Districts to the northernmost corner of
part Patetere South 1A Block situated in Block V, Horohoro
Survey District; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern
boundary of that part 1A to its easternmost corner; thence
south-easterly along a right line to the north-eastern corner
of Lot 1, D.P. 20031, aforesaid, being a point on the meri-
dional circuit boundary, situated in Block IX, Horohoro
Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along that
meridional circuit boundary to the easternmost corner of that
Lot 1, situated in Block X, Horohoro Survey District;
thence generally south-westerly along the generally north-
western boundaries of part Lot 11 and part Lot 10, D.P. 12325,
to the westernmost corner of that part Lot 10 aforementioned,
situated in Block XIII, Ngautuku Survey District; thence
southerly along the western boundaries of Lot 2 and Lot 1,
D.P. 20272, and the production of the last-mentioned
boundary to the generally southern side of State Highway
No. 30; thence generally easterly along that side to a point
in the middle of a tributary of the Whangapoa Stream;
then generally southerly down the middle of that tributary
to its confluence with the Whangapoa Stream; thence south-
westerly down the middle of that stream to its confluence with
the Waikato River; thence generally westerly and north-
westerly down the middle of that river to the point of
commencement.
