“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of £78,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the provision of sewer reticulation in that portion of the Waipareira Riding known generally as Swanson, together with all costs incidental thereto, the Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 1·261d. in the (£) pound on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in that portion of the Waipareira Riding Urban Drainage Area designated C by special order dated 7 August 1962; and further, resolves that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Waitemata County Council on 27 May 1965.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewer and Water Renewal Loan 1965, £31,800
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities’ Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £31,800 authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Beerescourt Sewer Loan 1953, £101,000, issue of £36,500 which matures on 9 August 1965, and the Waterworks Loan 1956, £91,500, issue of £41,500 which matures on 1 September 1965, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of thirty-eight thousandths of a penny (0·038d.) in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton City Council held on the 14th day of July 1965.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Streets Reconstruction Redemption Loan 1965, £15,800
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of fifteen thousand eight hundred pounds (£15,800) authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for repayment of £15,800 borrowed for streets reconstruction purposes, due and payable on the 1st day of August 1965, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four four pence in the pound (·044d. in the pound) upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being for a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Passed at a meeting of Council held on the 20th day of July 1965.

DEVONPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Property Purchase Loan 1965, £20,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Devonport Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 (twenty thousand pounds) authorised to be raised by the Devonport Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and buildings for redevelopment, the said Devonport Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of ·081d. (decimal nought eight one of a penny) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Devonport comprising the whole of the Borough of Devonport; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 22nd day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of not more than 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Depot Supplementary Loan 1964, £1,800
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £1,800 authorised to be raised by the Manukau County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Depot Loan 1960, £18,000, was raised, within the County of Manukau the said Manukau County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought one six pence (·0016d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the County of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I, Ronald Wood, County Clerk of the Manukau County Council, hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manukau County Council held on the 13th day of July 1965.

MANAWATU-OROUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
The Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board Reconstruction Loan 1965, £100,000
PURSUANT to section 45 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred thousand pounds (£100,000) authorised to be raised by the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of general reconstruction and extension of the Board’s reticulation system, the said Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of one ninety-fifth (¹⁄₉₅) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board District as defined in the Proclamation appearing in the Gazette, No. 40, 16 June 1955, pages 963–64; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board held at Palmerston North on the 19th day of July 1965.

COUNTY OF HOROWHENUA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of eight thousand five hundred pounds (£8,500) authorised to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the water-supply reticulation and provision of a reservoir in the Waikanae County Town of the County of Horowhenua, the Horowhenua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal one two six of a penny (·126) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Waikanae County Town; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan until the loan is fully paid off.”
