Limited Speed Zone Extended
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

The Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* dated the 10th day of February 1958†, which relates to Kaiata in Grey County is hereby revoked.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

SITUATED within Grey County at Kaiata:
No. 7 State Highway (Waipara-Greymouth via Lewis Pass) (from the north-eastern boundary of Greymouth Borough to a point 11 chains measured easterly generally along the said highway from Race Course Creek Bridge).

Closely Populated Locality and Limited Speed Zone Declared
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

The Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* dated the 29th day of August 1961†, which relates to Spring Creek in Marlborough County is hereby revoked.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 14 chains measured northerly generally along the said highway from Ferry Road to a point 10 chains measured southerly generally along the said highway from the said road).
Spring Creek-Wairau Bridge Road (from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 12 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said road from the said highway).

Declaring Land in the Nelson Land District to be Crown Land Subject to the Land Act 1948
PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, the Minister of Mines hereby gives the following notice.

THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

ALL that area of land containing 4 acres 3 roods and 9 perches, more or less, being part of Section 189, Square 131, situated in Block IX, Reefton Survey District, and being more particularly delineated on a plan deposited in the Head Office of Mines Department, Wellington, under No. 11/22/5 and thereon edged red.

Revocation of Reservation
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto and, further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Invercargill City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the Council or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation purposes.

Change of the Purpose of Part of a Reserve and Vesting in the Featherston County Council
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for gravel pit purposes to a reserve for a hydatids control station and, further, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Featherston, in trust, for a hydatids control station.
This notice is issued in substitution for the notice dated 24 August 1964 and published in Gazette, 27 August, No. 51, page 1365, and that notice is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Napier, in trust, for that purpose.
