Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Havelock North Borough Council
Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Havelock North, in trust, for that purpose.
SCHEDULE
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT--HAVELOCK NORTH BOROUGH
Lots 57 and 59, D.P. 11037, being part Suburban Section 26, Havelock, situated in Block IV, Te Mata Survey District:
Area, 1 rood 38:1 perches, more or less.

Notice Declaring Land Reserved for Hospital Purposes No Longer Required for That Purpose
Pursuant to section 69 (4) of the Hospitals Act 1957, the Minister of Health hereby declares that the public reserves described in the Schedule hereto are no longer required for hospital purposes.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
(1) All that piece of land containing 83 acres 1 rood 24:7 perches situated in the Borough of Otaki, being Titokitoki A, part of Titokitoki No. 3, Waitohu 11B and 11c No. 2, Haruatai No. 7, and part of the Church Mission Grant and accretions thereto part of the said parcels of land being also Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 9569 together with a right of way more particularly shown coloured blue on the plan drawn on certificate of title, Volume 432, folio 259, Wellington Registry, created or reserved by transfer No. 209345 over another part of the Church Mission Grant being that part of Lot 1 coloured yellow on Plan No. 9569 and over that part of Haruatai 10B defined by Plan No. 9570: and
(2) All that piece of land containing 2 roods 30:9 perches situated in Block IX, Waitohu Survey District, being part of subdivision 11, Haruatai Block, and being Lot 25 and part of Lot 26, on Deposited Plan No. 2464, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 283, folio 115, Wellington Registry.

Notice Respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of County of Whangarei and City of Whangarei
It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the County of Whangarei and included in the City of Whangarei. All persons affected who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington, within one month from the date of publication of this notice.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Whangarei County, containing 255 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the right bank of the Hatea River being the southernmost corner of Allotment 46, Whangarei Parish, and proceeding northerly generally along the right bank of the Hatea River to the easternmost corner of part Allotment 48, Whangarei Parish, comprised in C.T. 537/143 (limited as to parcels); thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said part Allotment 48 to its southernmost corner; thence north-westerly generally along the south-western boundary of the said part Allotment 48 to its westernmost corner, along a right line to and along the western boundary of part Allotment 49, Whangarei Parish, comprised in C.T. 537/143 (limited as to parcels), and the production of the said boundary to the northern side of the Whangarei-Kiripaka road; thence easterly along the northern side of the said road to the southernmost corner of part Allotment 106, Whangarei Parish, comprised in C.T. 540/220 (limited as to parcels); thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the said part Allotment 106 to its westernmost corner; thence easterly along the northern boundary of the said part Allotment 106 to its northernmost corner; thence northerly generally along the right bank of the Hatea River to its junction with the right bank of the Waitaua Stream; thence westerly generally along the right bank of that stream to the north-eastern corner of part Lot 6, D.P. 1583, comprised in C.T. 3D/187; thence southerly generally along the western side of Vinegar Hill Road to the northernmost corner of Allotment 99, Whangarei Parish; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of the said Allotment 99 to a point on that boundary 250 links distant from the north-eastern side of Corks Road; thence south-easterly along a right line parallel to that roadside to and easterly along the southern side of the Whangarei-Kiripaka road to and southerly generally along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 25044, to the western side of a public road, along a right line to the northernmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 25044, and along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of that Lot 2 and the south-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 25044 to the southernmost corner of that lot; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of Allotment 46, Whangarei Parish, to the point of commencement.
Also all that area containing 4 acres 2 roods 11 perches in the North Auckland Land District, Whangarei County, being Lot 22, D.P. 3129.

Extending the Time for Forwarding the Report of the Commission Appointed to Inquire into the Constitution of the Kaikohe Underground Water Area
WHEREAS by a Warrant dated 13 May 1965
John William Kealy, Esquire, of Auckland, Stipendiary Magistrate;
David Kear, of Wellington, geologist, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research; and
Harry Lancelot Hume, of Wellington, civil engineer, Ministry of Works;
were appointed to be a Commission to inquire into and report on certain matters relating to the proposals of the Kaikohe Borough Council for the constitution of the Kaikohe Underground Water Area:
And whereas the time within which the said Commission is required to report to the Minister expires on 31 July 1965:
And whereas it is expedient to extend the time within which the said Commission is required to report to the Minister of Works for a further period of two months, that is, until 30 September 1965:
Now, therefore, I, Percy Benjamin Allen, Minister of Works, pursuant to section 4 of the Underground Water Act 1953, hereby declare that the time at or before which the said commission is required to present its report aforesaid to me, is hereby extended to 30 September 1965, and I hereby declare that the provisions of the said Warrant shall apply as fully and effectively in all respects as if 30 September 1965 were the date originally fixed in the said Warrant as being the date on or before which the said Commission were required to report to me.

Crown Land Set Apart for a Police Station in the Borough of Waiuku
Pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for a police station from and after the 2nd day of August 1965.

All that piece of Crown land containing 3 roods 2:6 perches situated in Block III, Maioro Survey District, Borough of Waiuku, North Auckland R.D., and being Allotment 41, Village of Waiuku; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19534 (S.O. 44779), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
