PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground for the common use and benefit of the people of New Zealand generally.

Amending an Order in Council Authorising the Otago Electric Power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 17th day of June 1953 and published in the Gazette on the 18th day of the same month, at page 927, as amended by the Orders in Council dated the 2nd day of May 1955 and the 28th day of January 1959, and published in the Gazette on the 5th day of May 1955, at page 734, and the 5th day of February 1959, at page 105, respectively, authorising the Otago Electric Power Board to erect and use electric lines within the Otago Electric Power District and portion of the outer area of that district, by deleting paragraph (a) of the First Schedule thereto and substituting the following:

PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

This order may be cited as the Central Canterbury Electric Power District Order 1965, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Central Canterbury Electric Power District Order 1965* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

The principal order is hereby amended by deleting the Second Schedule thereto and substituting the following:
