Declaring Land in a Roadway Laid Out in the Borough of Kaikohe to be Street

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 9th day of September 1964, to be street.

Authorising the Museum of Transport and Technology (Inc.), Auckland, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 14th day of July 1965

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Museum of Transport and Technology (Inc.), Auckland (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the lines described in the Schedule hereto.


CONDITIONS

  1. PURPOSE OF LINES

The electric lines hereby authorised shall be used only for the purpose of supplying electricity to the licensee’s tramway.

  1. IMPLIED CONDITIONS

The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

  1. LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

This licence is issued under the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and is subject thereto, and to the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and to all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution thereof respectively.

  1. SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (i) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be 550 volts direct current system with the negative conductor earthed.

  1. DURATION OF LICENCE

Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1986.


SCHEDULE

LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described commencing from the Auckland Regional Authority, Passenger Transport Division’s trolley bus overhead system in Great North Road at a suspension pole marked A and proceeding in a northerly direction to a pole marked B on the premises occupied by the licensee.

The said lines being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 666, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Extending the Duration of Licences Authorising the Taranaki Electric Power Board to Use Water for the Purposes of Generating Electricity and to Erect and Use Electric Lines

At the Government House at Wellington this 14th day of July 1965

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Orders in Council specified in the Schedule hereto, authorising the Taranaki Electric Power Board to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect and use electric lines, by extending the duration of the said Orders in Council until the 16th day of July 1966.
