RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Lombard Street Parking Building Loan 1965,
of £286,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 5th day of July 1965.

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred and eighty-six thousand pounds (£286,000) to be known as the Wellington City Lombard Street Parking Building Loan 1965, of £286,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a parking building at Lombard Street, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and four one-thousandths of a penny (0·104d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Dunedin Airport Supplementary Loan 1965, £15,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £15,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Dunedin Airport Loan 1960, of £407,000, was raised, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0126d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on Monday, 28 June 1965.

Elderly Persons Housing Loan No. 2, 1965, of £5,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £5,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·003d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £13,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0078d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
Land Purchase Loan 1965, £60,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of £60,000 to be known as the Land Purchase Loan 1965 authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land needed to give effect to the district scheme for the city under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and the purchase and development of other land to provide for the proper development of the area in accordance with the proposed scheme for that area under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of two hundred and eight thousandths of a penny (0·208d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru City Council held on the 28th day of June 1965.

Public Notification of Changes Nos. 29 and 30 of Papakura District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to resolutions of the Papakura Borough Council made on 12 October 1964 and 28 June 1965, changes of the Papakura District Scheme have been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 as shown in the Schedule below. Plans showing the change of the scheme have been deposited at the offices of—

The Papakura Borough, Coles Crescent, Papakura;
The Public Library, East Street, Papakura;
The District Land Registrar, Auckland;
The Auckland Regional Authority, Auckland;

in accordance with section 22 (1) of the Act and are there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the changes of the scheme shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 1st day of September 1965. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.
