NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Piako County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited at the Piako County Council Chambers, Kenrick Street, Te Aroha, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

Every person affected who may wish to make any objection to the execution of such work or to the taking of such lands (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) must set forth his objection in writing and send same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Piako County Council, Kenrick Street, Te Aroha.

SCHEDULE

THE lands described hereunder are shown on Survey Office Plan 42780 and are required for widening the Gordon-Okaia road about 2 miles south of Gordon.

HASTINGS CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and in the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, whereas it is provided by section 327 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 that the Council from time to time may purchase or may take or otherwise acquire as for public works under the Public Works Act 1928 any area or areas of land within the district for housing purposes:

And whereas it is provided by section 163 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 as follows: "The Council shall have power to take in the manner provided by the Public Works Act 1928 or purchase or otherwise acquire and hold any land whether within or without the City which may be necessary or convenient for the purposes of or in connection with any public work which the Council is empowered to undertake, construct, or provide or for carrying out any of the purposes of this Act":

And whereas it is the intention of the Hastings City Council to acquire land within the City of Hastings for housing purposes:

Now, therefore, notice is hereby given that the Hastings City Council proposes, under the aforesaid provisions and other provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and all other acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, to take for housing purposes the land described in the Schedule hereto.

And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk for the said Council at Hastings Street, Hastings, and are there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of such lands who have any objections to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of the said lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, are hereby called upon to set forth the same in writing and to send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Hastings City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

ALL that parcel of land situate in Wilson Road, Hastings, in the City of Hastings containing thirty-three acres one rood thirty-six perches. (33 a. 1 r. 36 p.), more or less, being part Lot No. 3, Subdivision C, Heretaunga Block, and being Lot 24 on Deposited Plan No. 3699, and all the land in certificate of title H.B. Volume 71, folio 232.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

TAKE notice that the Patangata County Council, pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, hereby gives notice of its proposal to take land for road and close the portions of the existing road referred to in the Schedule hereto. The plan of land to be taken for road and of the portions of road to be closed by the Council may be inspected at the offices of the Patangata County Council in Northumberland Street, Waipukurau. All persons wishing to object to the proposal must set forth in writing any objections they may wish to make to the taking of the land or the closing of the road, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send such written objection to the Patangata County Council, Northumberland Street, Waipukurau, on or before the 5th day of August 1965.
