In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and in the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and (inter alia) sections 170 and 191 thereof, notice is hereby given that the Lower Hutt City Council, being a local authority within the meaning of the Public Works Act 1928, proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and of every and any other power it thereunto enabling, to execute a public work, that is, the extension of an existing street, namely, Bloomfield Terrace in the City of Lower Hutt, and for the purposes of the said public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken, marked T.P. 1/9/7, is deposited at the offices of the Council, Administration Building, Laings Road, Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection by all persons, without fee, during ordinary office hours.

Every person who is affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said lands or any of them and who has any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said pieces of land or any of them shall send his written objection, within a period of forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk of the City of Lower Hutt at his offices, Administration Building, Laings Road, Lower Hutt.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, notice is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Dunedin (hereinafter called “the said Corporation”) propose, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, to widen Brockville Road in the City of Dunedin, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk of the said Corporation, situated at the Octagon, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands should, if they have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, namely, the 28th day of June 1964, to the Town Clerk of the said Corporation.
