TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Public Notification of Amendment No. 1 to No. 1 Review, Petone Borough Approved District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council dated 16 February 1965, amendment No. 1 to the No. 1 review of the Petone Borough District Scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
The amendment relates to ordinance II, clause 3, of the Code of Ordinances, dealing with the bulk and location requirements of apartment houses in residential zones.
The amendment has been deposited in the Petone Borough Council offices and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the offices are open to the public.
Objections to the amendment shall be in writing on form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than Monday, 12 July 1965. At a later date, every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to oppose or support any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 8th day of June 1965, cancelled the registry of Court Perseverance, No. 3977, of the Nelson District, of the Ancient Order of Foresters’ Friendly Society (Register No. 4/8) held at Motueka, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.
