“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £17,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people,
the Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of
0·0102d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all
rateable property in the City of Dunedin, comprising the
whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on
Monday, 31 May 1965.

MOUNT ALBERT BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Departure From Operative District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of
the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments
and of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town
and Country Planning Appeal Board, by order dated the 21st
day of May 1965, gave consent to a specified departure from
the operative district scheme of the Borough of Mount Albert
to the extent indicated hereunder, namely:
By permitting and enabling the Eden Park Trust Board to
develop and utilise the lands acquired by it, and more
particularly described in the Schedule hereto (which are in-
cluded within a residential zone of the said operative district
scheme and, while still being retained and included within
that zone), for the improvement and further development
of the adjoining land vested in the Eden Park Trust Board and
known as “Eden Park” (which is designated as private open
space (existing) with the colour appropriate thereto and the
notation “Eden Park Sports Field”, on the district planning
map which forms part of the said scheme) for the several
uses classified as “field sports” in the Code of Ordinances
which also form part of the said scheme.
The proposed development shall include the construction of
a new embankment and terrace at Eden Park in accordance
with plans of the proposed embankment and terrace which
have been lodged with the Mount Albert Borough Council and
shall be subject to the following conditions:
- That the construction comply in all respects with Council’s
building bylaws and the outside walls to have a harmoni-
ous finish and be in accordance with amended plan No.
1375/3, dated 16 January 1965. - That sanitary fittings be provided in accordance with
section 42 and table “D” of the Drainage and Plumbing
Regulations 1959. - That adequate barricades be provided to prevent debris
being thrown or deposited on the adjoining private
residential properties and affixed to the end of the
embankment.
SCHEDULE
(1) No. 9 Cricket Avenue: All that piece of land containing
23·8 perches, more or less, being part Lot 56 on Deposited
Plan No. 4194 and being the whole of the land comprised in
certificate of title, Volume 630, folio 209 (Auckland Registry).
(2) No. 11 Cricket Avenue: All that piece of land con-
taining 26·6 perches, more or less, being Lot 57 on Deposited
Plan No. 4194 and being part Allotment 137 of Section 10 of
the Suburbs of Auckland and being the whole of the land in
certificate of title, Volume 153, folio 123 (Auckland
Registry).
(3) No. 13 Cricket Avenue: All that piece of land con-
taining 26·6 perches, more or less, being Lot 58 on Deposited
Plan No. 4194 and being part Allotment 137 of Section 10
Suburbs of Auckland and being the whole of the land in
certificate of title, Volume 156, folio 20 (Auckland Registry).

HENDERSON BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Public Notification of Proposed Changes to Henderson District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Henderson Borough Council made on the 9th day of
June 1965, a change to the district scheme has been recom-
mended for approval under the Town and Country Planning
Act 1953. The change is listed in the Schedule hereto.
The change has been deposited in the office of the Hender-
son Borough Council, Thomas Street, Henderson, and is there
open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested there-
in at any time when the above office is open to the public.
Objections to the proposed change or any parts thereof
shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule
to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 and shall
be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later
than the 9th day of August 1965 (a suitable form for the
use of objectors is available from the Council office). At a
later date every objection will be open for public inspection,
and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection
will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he
notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which
public notice will be given.
SCHEDULE
PROPOSED CHANGE AND MAP AMENDMENT
PART Lot No. 5, D.P. 8010 of 7 and 7d, Parish of Waipareira,
situated at Station Road, to be changed as to parts with con-
sequential amendments to scheme statement as follows:
(a) From existing school (kindergarten) to service lane (pro-
posed) and subject to such designation to be zoned Com-
mercial B.
(b) From existing school (kindergarten) to Commercial B.
(c) From service lane (proposed) to Commercial B.

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Changes to County of Taranaki District Planning Scheme (Combined Area Section) Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the changes to the
above scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act
1953 for the County of Taranaki (Combined Area Section)
relating to the matter set forth in the Schedule to this notice
were approved by the Council by resolution passed at its
meeting held on the 8th day of June 1965, there being no
objections relating to the said changes.
The Council has also resolved that the changes to this
scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of July 1965.
A copy of the changes to the scheme and the scheme itself
as amended by the changes has been deposited in the Council’s
office and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who
so requires at any time when the office is open to the public.
SCHEDULE
AMENDMENT to Code of Ordinances – Definition of conditional
use changed.

WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Changes to the City of Wanganui District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned
changes to the district scheme under the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953, for the City of Wanganui were approved
by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the
14th day of June 1965. No deferment was sought by the
Minister or any local authority. All objections and appeals
relating to the changes have been disposed of, and the scheme
has been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals
allowed, and all amendments of the district scheme required
by the Board have been incorporated.
The Council has also resolved that the under-mentioned
changes shall come into operation on the 1st day of July
1965.
Copies of the changes as approved have been deposited in
the Council’s office, St. Hill Street, and in the Wanganui
Public Library and may be inspected, without fee, by any
person who so requires at any time when these places are open
to the public.
