FRIENDLY SOCIETIES ACT 1909
ADVERTISEMENT OF CANCELLING
NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 9th day of June 1965, cancelled the registry of Loyal Apiti Lodge, No. 7303, of the Wanganui District of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Odd Fellows of (New Zealand) Friendly Society (Register No. 312(10)4), held at Apiti, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

THE CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957
IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF THE MODE OF ADMINISTERING A TRUST UNDER SECTION 33 OF THE CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957
WHEREAS, by virtue of a Deed of Trust dated the 28th day of February 1958, the Masterton Trust Lands Trustees accepted from the estate of Henry Oscar Toogood, late of Masterton, retired sheep farmer, deceased, a trust fund for the purpose of providing an Arts Hall in Masterton;
And whereas, under the terms of the said Deed of Trust the Arts Hall was to be erected by the 31st day of December 1964;
And whereas, pursuant to section 33 of the above act, the Masterton Trust Lands Trustees applied to the Supreme Court at Masterton for approval of a motion to vary the said Deed of Trust wherein the trustees proposed that the date of completion of the said Arts Hall be extended to the 31st day of December 1966;
And whereas the application for approval of the variation was heard in the Supreme Court at Wellington on Wednesday the 19th day of May 1965;
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 54 of the above Act, that on the said 19th day of May 1965 an order was made varying the said Deed of Trust by substituting for the words and figures “31st day of December 1964” appearing in paragraph 4 thereof the words and figures “the 31st day of December 1966”, reserving nevertheless to the trustees leave to apply further.

I, Frank Paul Evans, General Manager of the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Co. of New Zealand Ltd., do solemnly and sincerely declare:

That the liability of the members is limited.

That the capital of the company is £106,250 divided into 25,000 shares of £4 5s.

That the number of shares issued is 25,000.
-
That calls to the amount of £2 7s. 6d. (two pounds seven shillings and six pence) per share have been made under which the sum of £59,375 has been received.

That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates under administration during the six months ended 31 March 1965 is £2,206,883 17s. 9d.

That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates under administration during the six months ended 31 March 1965 is £2,085,812 7s. 6d.
-
That the amount of the balance held to the credit of estates under administration during the six months ended 31 March 1965 is £92,655 10s. 2d.
-
That the liabilities of the company on the 1st day of April last owing to sundry persons by the company were: On judgment, nil; on specialty, nil; on notes or bills, nil; on simple contracts, £870,392; on estimated liabilities, nil; on mortgage, £18,000.

That the assets of the company on that date were: Government securities, £10,000; other securities, £433,553; bills of exchange and promissory notes, nil; cash on deposit and at bank, £442,530.
And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing). subscription £3 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 50s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
