Road Closed in Block X, Opihi Survey District, Geraldine County, and Vested in the Austin Chalk Co. Ltd. and Murphy Brothers (Christchurch) Ltd.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the First and Second Schedules hereto; and I also declare that the road described in the said First Schedule hereto when so closed shall vest in the Austin Chalk Company Ltd., a duly incorporated company, having its registered office at Christchurch, and that the road described in the said Second Schedule hereto when so closed shall vest in Murphy Brothers (Christchurch) Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Christchurch.
FIRST SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of road situated in Block X, Opihi Survey District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 0 32·8 Rural Section 26581 and Lot 1, D.P. 11523, being part Rural Section 25081; coloured green on plan.
0 0 0·7 Part Rural Section 26581; coloured blue, edged blue, on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18966 (S.O. 10120), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured and edged as above mentioned.
SECOND SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of road situated in Block X, Opihi Survey District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 1 6·2 Rural Section 26581 and part Lot 2, D.P. 11523, being part Rural Section 25081; coloured green on plan.
0 0 1·9 Part Rural Section 26581; coloured blue, edged blue, on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18966 (S.O. 10120), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured and edged as above mentioned.

Varying the Apportionment of Elective Representation on the Poverty Bay Catchment Board and Making Necessary Arrangements for Retirements and Elections

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council, dated 17 October 1962, published in Gazette, page 1720, Volume III, 18 October 1962, declaring the number of members and apportioning representation on the Poverty Bay Catchment Board, by deleting the Schedule thereto and substituting the following Schedule and hereby—
(1) Appoints 1 October 1965 as the day on which the representative of the Matakaoa County and the representative of the Uawa County on the Board shall retire; and
(2) Fixes 9 October 1965 as the date of the first election of the additional representatives for the Cook County and Waiapu Counties to the Board.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
