TAURANGA HARBOUR BOARD
CONFIRMATION OF SPECIAL ORDER MAKING A SPECIAL RATE
Harbour Loan 1964
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £250,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga Harbour Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing an additional berth, Mount Maunganui Wharf, ancillary works, loan expenses, and contingencies, the said Tauranga Harbour Board hereby makes a special rate of one-twentieth (1/20) of a penny in the pound (£1), on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Tauranga Harbour District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 26th day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Tauranga Harbour Board at a special meeting held on 26 April 1965 and confirmed at an ordinary meeting held on 24 May 1965.

FRANKLIN ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Loan 1965, £80,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments and of all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Franklin Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the principal, interest, and other charges on the Board’s Reticulation Loan 1965 of £80,000 authorised to be raised by the Franklin Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of further reticulating, supplying, and developing the Franklin Electric Power District, and for such purpose to do all or any such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments and by all others powers and authorities it enabling, the Franklin Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of eighty-nine five-hundredths of a penny (89/500d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Franklin Electric Power District; and such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of February in each and every year, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully repaid.”

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loans 1965
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the renewal loans detailed in the Schedule hereunder and which are authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of refinancing 4 per cent loans due for repayment during the current financial year, the Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·2296d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loans and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loans, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loans are fully paid off.”

SECURITY RATE
Water Supply Redemption Loan 1965, No. 2 of £9,900
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £9,900 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Water Supply Extension Loan, No. 4, 1959, of £40,000, which matures on 22 May 1965, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·007713d. (pence) in the £ (pound) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the special rating area comprising the whole of the Avonhead, Belfast, Fendalton, Harewood, Papanui, Middleton, and Wairarapa Ridings of the Waimairi County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute certain public works, namely, to construct a service lane and also to provide a parking place in the City of Auckland, and for the purpose of such public works the lands firstly and thirdly described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for the construction of a service lane, and the lands secondly and fourthly described in the Schedule are required to be taken to provide a parking place.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, Auckland, and is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
Every person affected who wishes to make any objection to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of such lands (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) must state his objection in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Dannevirke Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, to execute certain public works, to wit, the treatment and disposal of sewage and refuse and for such purposes to take the land described in the Schedule hereto.
