Notice Calling Meeting

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Gore Drilling Co. Ltd., notice is hereby given that a meeting of the members of the above-named company has been summoned for the purpose of passing a resolution for voluntary winding up and that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the Druid’s Hall, 227 Manchester Street, Christchurch, on Tuesday the 8th day of June 1965, at 11 a.m.

Business:

Consideration of a statement of the position of the company’s affairs and list of creditors, etc.

Nomination of liquidator.

Appointment of committee of inspection if thought fit.

TAKAPUNA CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Streets Improvements Redemption Loan No. 2, 1965, £24,000

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1965, the Takapuna City Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Streets Improvements Redemption Loan No. 2, 1965, £24,000, authorised to be raised by the Takapuna City Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Streets Improvements Loan, 1952, £200,000, which mature on 1 July and 1 October 1965, and the cost of raising the loan, the Takapuna City Council makes a special rate of decimal nought six eight pence (0·068d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property) in the City of Takapuna; and that such special rate shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna City Council held on 18 May 1965.

BOROUGH OF KAWERAU

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioner Flats Loan 1965, £7,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kawerau Borough Board of Commissioners hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of seven thousand pounds (£7,000) authorised to be raised by the Kawerau Borough Board of Commissioners under the above-mentioned Act for purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Kawerau Borough Board of Commissioners hereby makes a special rate of point nought one pence (·01d.) in the £ upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Kawerau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid.”

KYEBURN RABBIT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the powers conferred by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rabbits Act 1956, and every other power and authority it thereunto enabling, the Kyeburn Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing for repayment of the Housing Loan 1965 for £2,700 and interest and other charges thereon, which loan was authorised to be raised by the Kyeburn Rabbit Board under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of providing housing for employees of the Board, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·4508 of a penny per acre on all rateable property in the Kyeburn Rabbit Board; that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly from 1 April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is fully paid off, whichever is the earlier.”

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Taumata Road Loan 1964, £1,070

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Cook County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £1,070 authorised to be raised by the Cook County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of forming and metalling the Taumata Road, the said Cook County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and ninety-three one-hundredths pence (1·93 pence) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the area comprising the Taumata Road Loan Special Rating Area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Cook County Council held on Thursday, 27 May 1965.

RANGITIKEI CATCHMENT BOARD

SPECIAL RATE OF SECURITY

Housing Loan 1965, £3,700

“THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,700 authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei Catchment Board under the above-named Act for the purpose of purchasing land and existing house, garage, and furnishings at Marton, the said Rangitikei Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate of 0·00199 pence in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property of the Rangitikei Catchment District as defined in the Gazette, No. 96, dated 14 December 1944, on page 1503; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CITY OF ROTORUA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

The Rotorua City Council Airport Loan 1965, £25,000

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) to be known as the Rotorua City Council Airport Loan 1965, £25,000, authorised to be raised by the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of part of the cost of establishing an airport at Rotokawa, the Rotorua City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought six one pence (0·061d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Rotorua; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Rotorua City Council held on Tuesday, 25 May 1965.
