Authorising James Trevor Wood, of Hicks Bay, Farmer, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Matakaoa

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises James Trevor Wood, of Hicks Bay, farmer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS IMPLIED CONDITIONS 1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS 2. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEM OF SUPPLY 3. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and shall be an alternating-current system.
DURATION OF LICENCE 4. Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1986 or until electrical energy is available from an electric power board or other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described commencing from the licensee's generator and proceeding generally in a north-easterly direction to a pole and thence as follows:
(1) In an easterly direction to a cottage, (2) In a northerly direction across a public road to a woolshed.
All being situated in Section A 25, Block I, Matakaoa Survey District, in the County of Matakaoa; the said lines being more particularly shown by means of a double red line on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 650 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY 3. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), and (d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
DURATION OF LICENCE 4. Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1985, or until electrical energy is available from an electric power board or other general public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee's generator and proceeding as follows:
- In a north-westerly direction to a house. 2. In a westerly direction, under a private road to a pole and thence above ground in a south-westerly direction generally, to workers' quarters, and a pole and thence:
(a) In a south-westerly direction to a wool shed. (b) In a south-easterly direction generally to a pump and thence parallel to a private road and across a further private road to the Waikuru Station School.
All being situated in Block IX, of the Matakaoa West Survey District, in the Matakaoa County, East Cape, the said lines being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 656, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Amending a Licence Authorising the Minister of Forests to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Whakatane
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington this 26th day of May 1965 Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 13th day of December 1961, and published in the Gazette, on the 14th day of the same month, at page 1916, authorising the Minister of Forests to erect and use certain electric lines in the County of Whakatane, by deleting the Schedule thereto and substituting the following Schedule therefor.
SCHEDULE LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from a pole situated in Section 9 and proceeding in a north-easterly direction to another pole situated in Section 4, and thence:
(a) In a north-easterly direction to a bunk house situated in Section 4. (b) Generally in a south-easterly direction across a road to a house situated in Section 3, thence generally in a westerly direction to a house in Section 5.
All being situated in Ruatahuna Township, Block IX, Ruatahuna Survey District, in the County of Whakatane; the said lines being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 625 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.
