A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the First Schedule hereto; and declare that the said road when closed shall vest in Valleyfield Farming Co. Ltd., and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and declare that the said road when closed shall vest in Raymond Robert Samuel White, of Waikaka, farmer, and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Third Schedule hereto; and declare that the said road when closed shall vest in Arthur Graham Cunningham and David George Cunningham, of Waikoikoi, farmers, as tenants in common in equal shares.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the notice dated the 13th day of April 1964, published in Gazette of 23 April 1964, No. 24, page 708, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at New Plymouth as No. 134120, declaring land taken for a Government work and not required for that purpose to be Crown land, in so far as it affects the land described in the First Schedule thereto.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of May 1965.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Tramways Act 1908 and the Tramways Amendment Act 1910, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves the term of the licence granted for a period of 21 years from the 22nd day of December 1964 by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Gisborne to the Gisborne Refrigerating Co. Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Gisborne, authorising the said company to construct and maintain a private tramway on, along, and across Kaiti Esplanade in the City of Gisborne, the position of such a tramway being more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 19424 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
-
This order may be cited as the Wairoa Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1965.
-
Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the Wairoa Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines within the area described in the Schedule hereto.

The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), and (f) of regulation 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 1986.

The Order in Council dated the 2nd day of October 1922 and published in the Gazette, on the 5th day of the same month authorising the licensee to erect and use electric lines is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE
AREA OF SUPPLY
THE Wairoa Electric Power District as defined in the Third Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of August 1957, and published in the Gazette, on the 29th day of the same month at page 1574, but excluding therefrom the Borough of Wairoa as constituted on the 25th day of June 1923.
