A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed
the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of road described as follows:

Allocating Motorway Land to the Purposes of a Road in
Block XV, Waitemata Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto (which was acquired
for motorway purposes and is not now required for that pur-
pose) shall, upon publication hereof in the Gazette, become
road, and that such road shall be maintained by the National
Roads Board in like manner as other public highways are
controlled and maintained by the said Board.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XV, Waitemata
Survey District, North Auckland R.D., described as follows:

15590.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 19056 (S.O. 44586) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
yellow.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line
of Portion of the Palmerston North Deviation (Whakarongo
Section) of the Palmerston North-Woodville Branch of
the Wellington-Napier Railway

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 18th day
of May 1938, published in Gazette, 26 May 1938, Vol. II,
at page 1184, and registered as No. 2686, Wellington Land
Registry, defining the middle line of portion of the Palmerston
North deviation of the Palmerston North-Woodville branch
of the Wellington-Napier Railway, in so far as it affects the
land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 3 acres and 20·82 perches
situated in the City of Palmerston North being Lot 1, D.P.
20443. All certificate of title, Volume B3, folio 1241,
Wellington Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

A. PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 30th day
of July 1948, published in Gazette, 5 August 1948, Volume
II, page 975, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at
Wellington as No. 3923, defining the middle line of the
Wellington-Napier via Woodville railway (Lower Hutt Valley
Duplication) in so far as it affects the land described in the
Schedule hereto.

District, Wellington R.D., described as follows:

advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents
to the Manukau County Council stopping the portion of road
described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that piece of road containing 1 rood 27·6 perches situated
