the said Raglan County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought six two of a penny (0·062d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Raglan; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be paid yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years (25 years), or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Raglan County Council held on 25 January 1965.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rotowaro Water Supply Loan 1964, £21,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £21,000 authorised to be raised by the Raglan County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a water supply for the County Town of Rotowaro, the said Raglan County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one five five of a penny (0·155d.) in the (£) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Raglan; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be paid yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan being a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Raglan County Council held on 25 January 1965.

TARANAKI HARBOUR BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Harbours Act 1950, and the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and all the powers and authorities it thereunto enabling, the Taranaki Harbour Board hereby resolves:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges payable in respect of the Taranaki Harbour Board Redemption Loan No. 3, 1964, of £256,000 authorised to be raised by the board by the terms of Sanction made by the Local Authorities Loans Board on the 17th November 1964, with the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, published in the Gazette of the 23rd December 1964, No. 80, at page 2383, the board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property in the area described in the First Schedule of the Taranaki Harbour Board Empowering Act 1955, two thirds of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property described in the Second Schedule of the Taranaki Harbour Board Empowering Act 1955, and one third of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property described in the Third Schedule of the Taranaki Harbour Board Empowering Act 1955; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and until the said loan is fully paid off.”

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Broadlands Forests Ltd., a public limited liability company having its registered office in the City of Auckland and carrying on business as a timber grower, notice is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Auckland, dated the 22nd day of December 1964, confirming the resolution reducing the company’s issued capital from 71,500 ordinary shares each of 7s. and 12,593 preference shares each of 7s. to the like number of ordinary shares and preference shares each of 2s. and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as so altered the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the District Registrar of Companies, at Auckland, on the 20th day of January 1965.
The said minute is in the words and figures following:
“The capital of Broadlands Forests Ltd. is £8,409 6s. divided into 71,500 fully-paid ordinary shares of 2s. each and 12,593 fully-paid preference shares of 2s. each having been reduced from £29,432 11s. divided into, 71,500 fully-paid ordinary shares of 7s. each and 12,593 fully-paid preference shares of 7s. each.”

CITY OF GISBORNE
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CARRY OUT SCHEME OF DEVELOPMENT
PURSUANT to subsection 2 of section 29 of the Finance Act (No. 3) 1944, the Gisborne City Council hereby gives public notice of its intention to carry out the scheme of development described in the First Schedule hereto. The approximate boundaries of the areas affected thereby are as described in the Second Schedule hereto, such areas being hereinafter referred to as “the area”.
This notice shall remain in force until 31 December 1966.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NATURE OF WORK
THE acquisition and development of the area for use as parking places and/or a transport station and the erection of buildings, structures, appliances, and other facilities as may be deemed necessary or desirable by the council for the proposed use.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SECTION 97, Town of Gisborne, with frontage to Grey Street, Gisborne.
Lot 1 and part Lot 2, D.P. 3608, of Section 87, Town of Gisborne, with frontage to Bright Street.
Part Section 86, Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 3658, of Section 98, Town of Gisborne, with frontage to Childers Road.
Being the lands comprised in the following certificates of title, 2/4, 22/156, 116/250, in accordance with a plan of the area open for inspection at the City Council Office, Fitzherbert Street, Gisborne.

THE AUCKLAND ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland Electric Power Board proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to execute a certain public work, namely, the erection of a major electrical substation and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto (situated at the north-eastern corner of Diamond Street and Macaulay Street, Newton, Auckland) is required to be taken.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) must state their objection in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the General Manager, Auckland Electric Power Board, Power Board Building, Queen Street, Auckland C.1.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 24·2 perches, more or less, being Lots 21 and 22, on Deposited Plan 1071, and being portion of Allotment 5A, Section 7, Suburbs of Auckland, and all of the land in certificate of title, Volume 299, folio 90, North Auckland Registry.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public works, namely, the provision of a road being portion of Papakura-Hunua Road at Hunua, within the County of Franklin, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk to the said council, situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
