NGAROMA FARM LTD.

In the matter of section 338 of the Companies Act 1955, and
in the matter of Ngaroma Farm Ltd., a dissolved company.
Notice is hereby given as follows:
-
That on the 8th day of October 1964 it came to the
notice of the Secretary to the Treasury that 45 fully paid £1
shares held by the above-named Ngaroma Farm Ltd. in
Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Co-operative Association Ltd. had
vested in the Crown pursuant to section 337 of the above-
mentioned Act; -
That on the date aforesaid application was received by the
Secretary to the Treasury for the Crown’s title to the said
shares to be disclaimed; -
That no such application as aforesaid was received by
the Secretary to the Treasury with respect to the said shares
before the date aforesaid; -
That the Crown’s title to the said shares is hereby
disclaimed.
Dated at Wellington this 23rd day of December 1964.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
General Extension and Improvement Loan 1964, £700,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Auckland Electric-power Board Act 1921–22, the Local
Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in
that behalf enabling it, the Auckland Electric-power Board
hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest,
and other charges on a loan of £700,000 known as the General
Extension and Improvement Loan 1964 of £700,000 for the
purpose of further reticulation of the board’s area and extend-
ing, strengthening, and reorganising the supply within that
area, the Auckland Electric-power Board doth hereby make
and levy a special rate of one twenty-first (¹⁄₂₁) of a penny
in the pound (£) on the rateable value on the basis of the
capital value of all rateable property in the Auckland Electric-
power District comprising the City of Auckland together
with the Boroughs of Ellerslie, Howick, Manurewa, Mount
Albert, Mount Eden, Mount Roskill, Mount Wellington,
Newmarket, Onehunga, One Tree Hill, Otahuhu, Papakura,
and Papatoetoe, the County of Manukau, and the Road
District of Waiheke; and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and
shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
12 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolutions were passed by
the Auckland Electric-power Board at its meeting held on
16 November 1964.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

The Wellington City The Terrace Parking Place Loan 1964,
of £100,000
The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of
the Wellington City Council held on the 19th day of January
1965:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of one hundred thousand pounds (£100,000) to be
known as the Wellington City The Terrace Parking Place Loan
1964, of £100,000 authorised to be raised by the Wellington
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of providing a parking place off The Terrace and access thereto
together with the cost of all incidental work, the Wellington
City Council hereby makes a special rate of thirty-seven
one-thousandths of a penny (0·037d.) in the pound on the
rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of
all rateable property within the whole of the City of Welling-
ton; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall
be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year
during the currency of the said loan, being a period of thirty-
five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

The Wellington City Waterworks Loan 1964, of £300,000
The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on the 19th day of January
1965:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of three hundred thousand pounds (£300,000) to be
known as the Wellington City Waterworks Loan 1964, of
£300,000 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
rehabilitating existing waterworks reticulation system and
associated works, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a
special rate of one hundred and thirty one-thousandths of a
penny (0·130d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the
said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the
1st day of April in each year during the currency of
the said loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIMEA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waimea Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £72,000, known as Murchison Reticulation Loan
(No. 2) 1964, authorised to be raised by the Waimea Electric
Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of constructing electrical works and line extensions within the
board’s district, the said Waimea Electric Power Board hereby
makes a special rate of 0·044d. (decimal nought four four
pence) in the £ upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
capital value) of all rateable property of the Waimea
Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a
resolution passed by the Waimea Electric Power Board on
20 January 1965.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Morrinsville Borough Council hereby resolves:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £4,450 authorised to be raised by the Morrinsville
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Water
Supply Improvement Loan 1953 which matures on 14 March
1965, the said Morrinsville Borough Council hereby makes a
special rate of decimal one one one pence (0·111d.) in the
pound on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable
property which formed the Borough of Morrinsville prior to
the extension of the Borough boundaries on 1 April 1958;
and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly
on the 30th day of July in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being for a period of 10 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Morrins-
ville Borough Council, held on the 19th day of January 1965.
