(c) The maximum advance in respect of planting, with
subsequent tending, will be £40 per acre and in
respect of tending of existing stands, £15 per acre;
(d) Interest on advances will be charged at £3 per cent
per annum.
(e) Compulsory insurance of advances will be charged at
the rate of 30s. per acre.
(f) The owner or lessee will be required to enter into an
agreement with the Minister and the repayment or
remission of the amounts advanced will be in
accordance with the agreement and the plan of operations
which shall form part of the agreement.
3. Every application for an advance under the said Act shall
be delivered to the Conservator of Forests for the district.
4. This notice revokes and is in substitution for the Farm
Forestry Notice 1963.

Scheme of Control of Kawerau College
Pursuant to section 92 of the Education Act 1914, the
Minister of Education hereby revokes the approval of the
scheme of control of Kawerau College published in the
Gazette, of 13 August 1964, No. 49, page 1290; and approves
of Kawerau College being controlled in accordance with the
Standard Scheme of Control for Secondary Schools 1961.
Provided that:
(a) The said Standard Scheme shall be read as if the clause
numbered 12A, set out in the Schedule hereto, were
inserted after clause 12.
(b) Clause 18 of the said Standard Scheme shall be read
as if the following proviso were added thereto:
"Provided that every member appointed or elected
for the first term of office of the Board shall hold
office until the 31st day of May in the year 1968,
whether or not that year is the third year after the
year of his appointment or election."
(c) Clause 46 of the said Standard Scheme shall be read as
if the following proviso were added thereto:
"Provided that in any case where the Board enters
into an arrangement for accounting services to be
undertaken by an Education Board or by the
governing body of another post-primary school
(hereinafter referred to as the agent board) all money
shall be paid into the bank account of the agent
board and no money shall be drawn out of such
bank account except by the authority of the Board
and by cheque signed by the persons authorised by
the agent board to withdraw money from such bank
account."
SCHEDULE
Clause to be read as part of the Standard Scheme:
"12A (1) In every case where any member is to be elected
by the members of the school committee of the public schools
to which paragraph (d) of clause 2 of the Kawerau College
Board of Governors Order 1964 applies, every such member
shall be so elected by postal ballot in a manner approved
by the Board.
"(2) Such an election shall be held in the month of May
in the year 1968 and every third year thereafter, or as soon
thereafter as may be convenient, on a date to be fixed by the
Kawerau College Board of Governors. For the purpose of
every such election, the Secretary of the Board shall be the
returning officer."
