Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940,* the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:

A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940* to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Declaration That Part of the Mount Maunganui Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Mount Maunganui Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and, further, revokes the reservation over the said reserve.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the New Plymouth City Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as reserves for recreation purposes and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the reserves in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of New Plymouth, in trust, for those purposes.

The Farm Forestry Notice 1965

PURSUANT to the Farm Forestry Act 1962, the Minister of Forests hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Farm Forestry Notice 1965.

2. The Minister of Forests will consider applications for advances under section 4 of the Farm Forestry Act 1962 from owners or lessees of land for the purpose of establishing woodlots for the production of forest products subject to the following conditions:

(a) The minimum area of planting or tending in respect of which an advance will be granted is 5 acres;

(b) The normal maximum area of planting or tending in respect of which an advance will be granted is 100 acres in any five-year period, but in special cases greater areas may be approved;
