WAIRERE ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Lines Reconstruction Loan 1964, £10,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairere Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing for payment of principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £10,000 known as the Lines Reconstruction Loan 1964 and authorised to be raised by the Wairere Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electricity in the board’s district, the said Wairere Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal three of one penny (0·3d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Wairere Electric Power District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Wairere Electric Power Board held on Thursday, 25 March 1965.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Franklin County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of fifteen thousand pounds (£15,000) authorised to be raised by the Franklin County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of undertaking flood control works in the Motukaraka Special Drainage District of the County of Franklin, the Franklin County Council hereby makes and levies special rates of eleven shillings and threepence (11s. 3d.), nine shillings and fourpence half penny (9s. 4½d.), six shillings and ninepence (6s. 9d.), and four shillings and sixpence (4s. 6d.) per acre on lands specified A, B, C, and D as appearing on the classification list for the Motukaraka Special Drainage District of the County of Franklin; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year until such loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Franklin County Council held on the 26th day of April 1965.

COUNTY OF HOROWHENUA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties’ Act 1956 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments, and the Rural Housing Act 1939 and amendments and regulations thereunder, and all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) authorised to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Horowhenua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0666 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Horowhenua; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

EASTBOURNE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Hutt Estuary Bridge Redemption Loan 1965
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Eastbourne Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifteen thousand pounds (£15,000) authorised to be raised by the Eastbourne Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the repayment of the council’s share of the cost of the Hutt Estuary Bridge, the said Eastbourne Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point two seven pence (0·27d.) in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Eastbourne; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Passed at a meeting of the council held on the 22nd day of April 1965.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 3, 1965, of £395,800
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 3rd day of May 1965:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of three hundred and ninety-five thousand eight hundred pounds (£395,800) to be known as the Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 3, 1965, of £395,800 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Hutt Estuary Bridge Loan 1955, £117,000; New Office Building Loan 1954, £140,000; Northern Access Loan 1953, £68,000; Sewerage Loan 1954, £350,000; City Works Loan No. 2, 1950, £435,200; and Aerodrome Loan No. 6, 1958, £150,000 which mature on 1 July and 1 August 1965, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of two hundred and nineteen one-thousandths of a penny (0·219d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 2, 1965, of £37,900
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 3rd day of May 1965.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty-seven thousand nine hundred pounds (£37,900) to be known as the Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 2, 1965, of £37,900 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Sewerage and Stormwater Drainage Loan 1950, £267,350 and Aerodrome Development Loan No. 1, 1952, £100,000 which mature on 1 and 31 July 1965, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of twenty-two one-thousandths of a penny (0·022d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of thirteen (13) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
