PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Taranaki County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL those pieces of road situated in Block VIII, Paritutu Survey District, Taranaki R.D., described as follows:

Amending the Representation on the Rangitikei Catchment Board

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 13th day of December 1944, and published in Gazette, 14 December 1944, Volume III, page 1504, as amended by Order in Council dated the 10th day of November 1959, and published 19 November 1959, No. 70, page 1654, declaring the number of members and apportioning representation on the Rangitikei Catchment Board by deleting the Schedule thereto and substituting the following Schedule.

Waimea Electric Power District Representation Order 1965

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 26th day of April 1965
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (i) This order may be cited as the Waimea Electric Power District Representation Order 1965.
    (ii) This order shall come into force on the date of the next general election of members of local authorities.
  2. Each of the following groups of ridings of the Waimea County shall be a separate constituent district of the Waimea Electric Power District:
    (a) Wangapeka, Whangamoa, Waimea East, Appleby, Wai-iti, Central, Moutere, and Motueka Ridings.
    (b) Murchison North and Murchison South Ridings.
  3. The constituent districts of the Waimea Electric Power District, which are bracketed together in the first column of the Schedule hereto, shall be a combined district for the purposes of the said Act.
  4. The local authority of the constituent district distinguished in the first column of the said Schedule by the letter “(P)” shall be the principal local authority of the said combined district.
  5. The number of representatives of each constituent district or combined district on the Waimea Electric Power Board shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district or combined district.
  6. The first election of the representatives of the constituent districts comprising groups of ridings of the Waimea County shall be held on the date of the said next general election.
  7. The Order in Council dated the 26th day of August 1959, and published in the Gazette, on the 27th day of the same month, at page 1187, and the Order in Council dated the 10th day of June 1963, and published in the Gazette, on the 20th day of the same month, at page 828, reapportioning representation on the Waimea Electric Power Board and determining the number of representatives of the Murchison County on the Waimea Electric Power Board respectively, are hereby revoked.
