Regional Planning Scheme for Northland

Pursuant to section 7 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 (hereinafter called the Act), the Minister of Works hereby notifies as follows:

1. That by Gazette notice of 20 November 1958, approval was granted to the resolutions of the councils whose names are set out in the First Schedule hereto (being councils having jurisdiction over adjacent districts) to unite for the purpose of preparing a regional planning scheme for the area within their several jurisdictions;

2. That the Minister of Works hereby approves the resolutions made by the councils listed in the first column of the Second Schedule hereto, each on the date opposite its name in the second column of that Schedule, resolving that the councils' districts be added to the districts of the councils listed in the First Schedule hereto for the purpose of having a regional planning scheme for the whole of the district defined in the Third Schedule hereto;

3. That the district as defined in the Third Schedule hereto be known as the Northland Planning Region.
