PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the declaration dated 26 January 1965 and published in Gazette, 4 February 1965, No. 6, page 161, declaring land taken, subject to a fencing covenant, to storm-water rights, and to easements in gross, for police purposes (residence), and declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for police purposes (residence) from and after the 3rd day of May 1965.

Declaring an Easement Over Land Taken for Railway Purposes in the Borough of Balclutha

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, an easement is hereby taken for railway purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, inspect, cleanse, repair, renew, and maintain a pipe or line of pipes under, along, or over the said land and to use the said pipe or line of pipes for the unimpeded conveyance of sewage through the said pipe or line of pipes, such easement to be held appurtenant to Lot 1, D.P. 8238, being all notice No. 259770, Otago Land Registry, from and after the 3rd day of May 1965.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road, and notice is hereby further given that the plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the post office at Taupo, and are there open for inspection; and that every person affected by the taking of the said land should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
